The echoed music of the daycare theme lightly played from afar. Your hand gripping onto the strap of your duffle bag, a imprint of a cartoonish freddy face on it; bright colors and patterns decorating the bag. You readjusted it onto your shoulder now stepping forward to the Superstar Daycare. Staring at all of the small plastic chairs and tables made you reminisce from back then when you where a young child. The smell of finger paint and playdoe made you look around more, the sensories giving you a odd sense of comfort.
A large wooden door stood in front of your feet. The sight of a indoor playground peered over the high rise gates surrounding the main play place. Your hand gripped onto the metallic handle which was painted over with cheap golden paint, it let out a loud drawn out creak as you entered.
Colorful floor padding filled your eyes along with the jungle gym and other small play areas. You looked over your shoulder cautiously, wondering if the animatronic was here. It was your first day at the pizzaplex afterall, and it was a interesting one. The staff who showed you around for your orientation mentioned him once or twice, they mentioned the animatronic as the 'Daycare Attendant'. There where smaller details going on about keeping the lights on and basic work related things. You simply put it up as normal. A little odd but normal.
The music reverberated still. Rain pattering the outer walls of the place, a crackle of thunder breaking into the unseen dark sky. It was going to be a long night, and especially a loud one. The bag fell onto the floor, you rolled your shoulder to releive the stress from the duffle bag which carried your things for your very first night shift here.
A crack of lightning ran out again, all the lights presumably in the daycare going out. Your heart beat jumped for a split second, going down now at the simple realization. The light must have gone out because of the thunder storm. The thought of what the past staff had told you about the lights made you pause, now digging blindly into the fazbear bag for a flashlight you kept just in case of situations like this. You let out a sigh, this really was going to be a long night.
You sat up now getting onto your feet again. Your eyes darted at the unfamiliar area now clicking the flashlight on.
"Hey...! Daycare Attendant guy! You here?!"
Your eyes wandered further in search of this ambiguous animatronic. You knew what he looked like due to the many images of him plastered on the walls. A anthropomorphic sun, one with jester-like attire. You kept wandering further until you stopped at the front desk.
It made you remember another one of those odd fellows. A moon, you thought more. Chalking it up to it simply because another separate character who was located some place else, with a entirely different purpose.

A noise came from in front of you. A good few yards. It was probably him now wanting to greet a new guest, you loosened up; now flashing the light towards the noises direction. The sounds of gears and mechanical parts whirring became louder, the beam of your light not yet seeing the sun. A cold sweat rolled down your forehead.
A pair of pinpoint red eyes stared back at you in the dark, the only source of light which kept you safe from darkness flickered in fear. The white light becoming shakier in your grasp, you aimed the flashlight straight at the creature's face.
You could only get a glimpse of it for a split second before it jumped up into the air, star-like lights faintly flickering on and off on the ceiling, a very light silouhette of the sun -no- the moon swung from a wire presumably. It's red eyes peirced your heart, as it stared back down at you with unknown curiousity.
The white of your eyes where more visible now, your breath hitched as you tripped over your bag for the exit.
Your eyes kept meeting back up at the ceiling, where the moon man flew high up. You didn't know when he would hop back down right in front of you, you didn't know what it's intentions were. The sound of familiar gears whirring rung in your ears in horror. It's feet making contact instantly with the padded floor, the color which once was there was now drained in darkness. It's stride towards you now amediate, each step exaggerated.
You almost toppled over a foamy ledge, almost making you fall into the hands of this...creature.
Your hands gripped onto the nearest thing, blindly grappling and running in directions with no thought, adrenaline only controlled your brain now. The music which once played over the daycare was no more.
The padded floor became uneven, presumably sloping up into the jungle gym, now ducking down. The animatronic quickly in pursuit.  Cage-like metal kept you and the animatronic together in this jungle gym which now felt like prison.
The Moon's long slim fingers dug into the padded floor, it's feet which had bells on the end of them coming after. It's head spun in a clockwise manner as it kept a strong lock onto you.
"It's past your Bed time~"
The feeling of a heavy weight hit you like a truck, making you fall to the floor. The moon towered over you now, long spindly hands wrapped around you securely so you couldn't escape its grasp. It's blood shot eyes stared into yours, it's smile unmoving as it's head tilted from side to side. Gears from inside it's metallic body clicked and rotated as it inspected you further.
"Naughty Naughty..~"
You waited for something to happen, but nothing did. It felt like hours laying there. It inched closer towards your face now, the red lights luminating your skin in the vast darkness as the storm continued on from outside. A cold hand gently brushed your cheek; making you tense in dreadful anticipation for what was to come next.
It craned its neck slowly, now staring st you from a different angle, your eyes staying on it.
The Moon let go of you know, it's one hand which had been brushing your cheek was back onto the cold floor mat. It peered back, now going back into the darkness called the Daycare. Away from you.
Lights flickered back on as the song which usually would play over the place slowly winded back up. You blinked, readjusting to the bright lights and the sudden shifts of emotions. You turned your flashlight off cautiously as your looked down into the rest of the Superstar Daycare, nothing.

Why did it let you go?
