"what? why?" harry's eyes started to fill with tears. before harry could say another word, the door was closed, and he heard the lock click. he stood there, completely unable to move, he was scared that if he took his eyes off the door, the vision of draco standing there would fade. after standing there for a while, harrys sadness turned to anger, and then blind rage. he banged on the door. " AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN THROUGH" harry yelled, "YOU DO THIS TO ME??" people starting to gather in the hallway to watch. harry couldn't believe it, after all that, draco would just shut him out? but why? would he do this on his own account? harry didn't know (or care) at this point. he looked around at the people watching him, he turned a shade of crimson red, and stormed away, not to be seen for the rest of the day.
harry sat in a lonesome looking corner somewhere in the depths of hogwarts. it was there that harry had many thoughts about the situation, and it's there he would stay for hours, sitting quietly. yes, harry was mad at draco, livid actually, but he was even more angry at himself. how could he let himself be so blind? harry stood like a deer in the headlights, staring at all of draco's blatant red flags, but ignored every single one of them. how could he allow himself to do that? his fists were clenched in anger.
harry had never been a confrontational person, but recently he had not been afraid to tell draco what he was thinking. he debated on confronting him, but decided it was best to let it be, he didn't want an apology, he hardly even wanted an explanation, he just wanted to avoid him. he had made up his mind, if he saw draco, he would not speak to him, look at him, or give him any sort of attention.
at the same time, draco sat in the Slytherin common room. words sort of floated around the room, half-forming sentences about what had happened earlier, draco caught little snippets of the gossip. he was so mad, why would harry even think its okay to visit during school hours when everyone is out? did he really want to risk getting seen together?
would harry risk his reputation for draco? because draco certainly would NOT do it for harry, and he was going to make that very clear from now on.
