I was finally done at the mall. I got everybody something even the girls at the shop. They been killing it. I just gotta figure out what I'm getting Jayda. I want this gift to be special and from the heart. It would be like Christmas all over again.
It didn't take long for me to get back to my mama house. Usually it's a lot of traffic but since I went early I beat the traffic. When I pulled up to my mama house I seen her & lala cars in the driveway. I know they weren't going to let me take a nap , shopping got me tired as hell. I left all the bags in the trunk because they are nosey. It wouldn't even be a surprise anymore if they found these gifts.
Soon as I walked in the smell of soul food hit me. I could hear Mary J playing softly and my mama trying to sing.
"Look who decided to bless us with her presence." Lala said with this goofy ass smirk
"Heyyyyyy bestfriend" I laughed
"Bestfriend my ass" she rolled her eyes
One thing we don't play about is eachother. I hated when we wasn't talking. I just had to get my mental together. I knew she was mad for the moment but she still love me.
"Don't be like that , I love youuuuu" I told her before kissing all over her face
"Bitch if you don't get your dick mouth off me" she said mushing me
"Let's not talk about dick mouth boo. You still got my cousin dick on yo breath" I said side eyeing her
The sliding door opened and my mama walked in looking so pretty.
If you was to see my mama on the streets you wouldn't even be able to tell she got a 25 year old and 22 year old.
"Goodmorning pretty" she said kissing my forehead
"Goodmorning ma" I smiled
I looked around once more and asked
"What's going on ? What's the special occasion?" I was asking everyone at this point
"Well mama thought it would be a GREAT idea for us to have a little cook out today for you. We just want to show you we love you and your appreciated boo"
"Awe thank you guys , I love y'all fr" I told them getting emotional
I just didn't understand what did I do to have such amazing people in my life.
"Where is my favorite cousin at ?" I asked looking around
"You know he back there on the grill , thinking he my damn daddy. I had to remind him I'm his auntie. That damn boy act just like his black ass daddy" my mama said shaking her head
" He do " I laughed
I made my way to the back and I saw Dell on the grill talking to a medium built man , he had to be around 6'0. He his skin was mahogany, with the clearest skin ever .
I was about to approach them but they looked like they were in a heated conversation. So I stood at the patio doors until they were done.
I was just about yo go in the house until Dell said
" what you standing there for looking dumb, come give me hug ugly"
"Nigga you ugly , you don't need to be out here in this sun we won't be able to see you tonight. Keep fucking around "
"You think cause you ALMOST light skinned you can talk about me be dark skin. None of that matter cause yo head big as shit boo" he laughed
As I made my way over to him , the man he was talking to exited out the backyard gate. Not before he dapped up Dell of course.
