the RIFT of DEATH

an emotional Scar

it's been over 3 years now since the bloodbath that was the rift. Scar looks on to the Ruins of the shopping district. as sits from the lofty perch that is I buy window, he wonders as usual why out of all of them it had to be him survive, "how is it that the one who always dies the one who always gets himself into trouble, I'm, still the one who lived it could of been cub or maybe Tango or even Grian, but out of everyone, Scar, one of the last people to survive? I never would of believed it if I wasn't sitting here, living it."

As Scar sits watching what was a glorious sign of a prosperous community now reduced to a former shell of it's half finished days of glory. "you ok up here"? Doc ask in a calm tone "yeah Im just, thinking". Scar replied without breaking his gaze. "well the shulkers are loaded with supplies, when your ready we can go" Doc says as he turns back walking over to his shulkers. Scar finally breaks his gase from the pitiful site and looks back over to doc. Scars eyes have lost there joy and hope, his eye bags are darker than ever due to his severe lack of sleep. Sometimes his lack of sleep is due to him having to watch and make sure none of him and Docs friends come and Visit for a quick bite. but the other half he is just lying awake, thinking.

Scar than sees a winged figure in the distance. he than begins to frantically try and make out who the figure is. "ok he has a red shirt as well as some grey jeans no wait that isn't a shirt that's a jumper, and are those multi colored wings on there back"? Scar thinks to himself. as he sees the wings he realizes who the figure truly is "ITS GRIAN" Scar yells out loud. that monster he saw born at the rift had his feathers ripped out as well as his thighs and left arm. the figure he sees before him still has his feathers and his limbs. this is not the monster inhabiting the shell of his old friend, this infact was the real true Grian. Scar then Jumps out the window and makes a sprint to his friend. he had been waiting for this moment for years. "how did he survive I saw him die"? he said in a full sprint of desperation over to the Pesky Bird.

Doc in a desperate panic follows trying to stop scar before he drew to much attention to himself. "SCAR NO"! Doc screemed out in desperation, try to keep up with Scar. When Scar finally reaches Grian he Throws his arms around him and embraces him happy that another one of his friends survived. however Scar then feels a cool breese approaching him from the same way as the figure. he than opens his eyes to realize, that nobody, was ever there. His insomnia had finally caught up to him, and he has started seeing things that aren't really there. Scar than just stands there with a blank stare, looking off into nothingness.

Scar than falls to his knees as tears begin to form in his eyes not breaking his unbreakable gaze. "b-but how I just saw him" Scar thinks to himself. he than thinks to himself as the real Grian gives out a loud screech far off in the distance. Doc than finally reaches Scar. he than places his hand on Scars shoulder and sits down beside him. "I know its hard to believe I'm having a hard time believing it myself but, there gone" Doc says to Scar with a slight tone of disbelief himself. Scar then burst out into a full on ugly cry, Doc just grabs him and give him a hug. the two than stand up Scar whipping away the tears from his face. "Now come on. Let's head on home".

after Doc had said that. Gentle music started to play and without any warning Doc had lost control of his legs and begans to start marching away. Scar tries to chase after him. But then looses him in the woods. Scar can't believe what is going on, not like this I can't loose the only one I have left out of desperation he than drops to his knees and cries hoping hoping for a miracle. Out of nowhere Scar feels a hand grasps his shoulder and without thinking he jumps up and draws back his bow with a look of pure anger and rage in his eyes. Etho puts his hand in the air and takes a few steps back. "Im sorry to startle you, I thought I was the one left" Scar drops his bow trying to hold back tears "They have Doc". Scar says no longer able to hold back his tears "Don't worry" Etho says "we'll get him back, promise".
