(Naya's pov)
"Have y'all seen the video of Dina?" Sif whispered to the other girls.
This immediately caught my attention. Well, of course it did. I was the person who took the video. But I didn't leak it or anything. I didn't even show anybody else. Well, that's a lie, actually. I showed the video to Sirah on my phone, mainly just because I know we both have this fucked up humour that surrounds itself around murder, death and suicide. We both laughed uncontrollably once the lamp couldn't hold her anymore, and she fell to the ground. These are the kind of things that bring me and my best friend together. In fact, our whole friendship started with talking about suicide. Before that, we despised each other. Sirah found me too cold and heartless. I found her stupidity a pain in the ass. Well, she's not, like, actually stupid. I know a lot of idiotic people. They all act foolish. She doesn't act foolish. She just doesn't care all that much about school, and whenever the teacher asked her a question during a lecture, she didn't know what to answer.
People may argue suicide is foolish. That it's just for the weak people. I have to disagree with them. Suicide and death is fascinating, and since this human form has its limits, and this planet is a shitty place, I'd just like to spare all of the boring stuff, and jump right into the fun: death.
Now, everybody has different believes to what may actually happen once you die. Some people believe you either go to heaven or hell. Here, you'll either live in a paradise with God, or be tortured by Satan himself. I find this believe bullshit. I don't have anything against people with religion, I just never truly understood it. My best friend, Sirah, is a muslim. I respect that, naturally.
Other people believe your whole life will flash before your eyes. That usually only takes 7 mintutes, but those 7 minutes can feel like an eternity. According to those people, your life could be flashing before your eyes right at this moment without you being aware. And then there's people who believe nothing will happen at all.
I don't know where I stand, but I definitely lean towards the last opinion. But I'd like to found out what happens. And there's only one way to find out how.
"What video?" Thilde asked. She looked over at Dina's seat, which was right across hers.
"Oh, it doesn't matter..." Sif mumbled. This was a dumb move of hers. I could already predict she was gonna say this. Now, if you want somebody to actually drop something, never say this. Humans are a curious breed, and this shall only provoke their curiousity.
The other girls began practically begging for her to tell them about the video. Dina used to upload a bunch of cringey videos to TikTok. Whenever people needed something to laugh about, they went onto her TikTok. Now, I'll have to admit I've done this, too. Dina is a hot topic in my friend group, and we always talk shit about her. But Sif stood in her ground, and refused to tell them. I admire that. Usually, people just give in and tell them.
Well, there were 2 other people watching the live. I don't know who it was, but Sif might've been one of them.
