Callista is a timid, reserved kid. Most people are curious as to why she is so quiet, and some assume that she is afraid of talking, but everything has a story. But in all honesty, that only tells half the story. She was young when the narrative began.

Although she was shy as a child, she was far more skilled at conversing than everyone else was, who was her age. Even the parents of other children questioned her regarding school and whether or not their children had homework.

She was pleased to discuss those at the time and inform their parents of what occurred at school. She excitedly began discussing their academic duties.

She learned to keep quiet and stop talking after a few weeks of incidents where teachers and parents frequently interrupted her when she was speaking. She struggled to say what she was about to say.

Some people would assume that she was having a temper tantrum over something minor, but in reality, she experienced this repeatedly until she was fed up with it and now she won't speak until she is asked specifically.

When she was a young child, a teacher once yelled at her in the afternoon simply because she questioned her, "Ms. Dana, how do you-"

The teacher interrupted her before she could inquire, "I've already repeated myself to you all. Use your ears properly—you have them!"

Callista kept quiet and simply completed her assignments as she saw fit, occasionally peeking at what the other students were working on to keep up.

"Finish your work before you leave," the teacher instructed after the class.

"D-do I finish this one too...?" she said as she nodded.

The teacher yelled once more, and this time it wasn't a pleased agreement "Yes! Complete everything, and then leave."

Callista completed the assignment and turned it into the teacher after around four minutes, but apparently she made a fundamental error seeing as she wasn't allowed to leave the class.

"The proper response is as follows! It was demonstrated in the example! "The teacher yelled once more.

Callista attempted it once more, fighting the need to cry while doing so. She was confused about what she had done wrong and why her teacher was yelling at her, but she eventually finished and was permitted to move on to her favorite class.

Tears began to fall from her eyes as she exited the classroom, and she thought, "I'm confused of what went wrong. Why is she upset with me...? Should I tell my mom about this?"

She wiped away her tears and gently knocked on the door. When she entered, the room was bursting with laughter and joy.

She simply tried to do her work while keeping her mouth shut, but because of her depressed state, she was slow. Eventually, the art teacher approached her, "Did you shed tears, Callista? What's the issue? Are you struggling with anything right now?"

She was immediately taken aback by her teacher's inquiries and made an effort to appear normally "Obviously not, Ms. Posie! I didn't cry, therefore I'm good."

The art teacher nodded and looked after another student. Even though she had her doubts about Callista, she was unable to assist her if anything was wrong because Callista was reluctant to speak up.

Her friends wanted to play in the playground during lunch, since it was raining, so they couldn't. The group's one friend explained to the other females that the playground wasn't wet. "Look, the playground isn't even wet, and my hand isn't even wet. Let's play now."

However, the teachers warned us not to play on the playground, so shouldn't we take notice to-," Callista said.

She was interrupted once again before she could continue "Oh, Callista, hurry up. Who cares what the teacher told us? Stop talking. The playground isn't even wet, so they were wrong!"

While several of her friends played in the playground, Callista restrained herself from speaking and just stood there. She made every effort to hold back her tears.

"Callista, are you all right?" Mona softly inquired.

"Oh! She most likely didn't intend it, but I'm okay." Callista appeared happy.

Talia continued, "I don't believe you, though; you sound depressed. Callista, don't pay attention to her. She constantly treats us unfairly."

The bell that signals the end of school rang as the three of them hugged one another.

Before pulling away from the hug and getting ready to head home, Callista smiled, "You two are really sweet! I'll get ready right away to go home and see you tomorrow."

Callista gathered her belongings and placed them in her adorable bag as it was already 12 PM and it was time to head home.

When Callista's mother arrived to pick her up, the teacher notified her.

Callista crossed the street and entered their vehicle. She then pondered whether or not to tell her mother about the issue she has been having, "I don't want to worry her, though. I'm just not going to tell her, so she won't worry about it."

As a result, she always bottled up her emotions and troubles to the point where it stuck to her like glue even as she became older. She kept being that way, even though it pained her, even to this day.

However, she occasionally tried to be fearless, and that would wear her out. She persevered in attempting day after day. She eventually gave up and just continued trying. "Keep trying and it will work someday," is the moral of this story.
