Meet

Nakalipas ang maraming oras, bumaba at natulog muli ang araw. Pumalit naman ang magandang ilaw ng buwan.

"It's time" I whispered to myself

Handa na ang lahat at hinihintay ko na lang ang kotse ng babaeng aking papakasalan.

I waited outside and hindi nga ako nagkamali, dumating na siya.

'This is it! First impression is very important so I have to try my best not to scare her'

The car parked infront of me and waited for the door to open. I have high standard sa mga babae dahil sa ate ko but here she is, another beautiful being standing right infront of me. A 5'7 ft tall girl, brownish hair and she's wearing a simple but elegant black dress, her beautiful emerald eyes looked at me. I was stunned for a moment and got delusions. "A Goddess" I said

Before she noticed my stare, I shrugged my thoughts off and offered my hand to her.

"Welcome, my fiancée" parang ang cringe, bakit ko ba sinabi yun?! I'm panicking inside while still maintaining my gentle smile outside.

'Don't scare her, don't scare her, don't scare her'

I'm meditating inside because I'm really nervous!

She just nooded at me without saying anything kaya nagtaka ako, nonetheless I guided her inside and helped her take her seat.

'It may not looked like it but it seems like my secretary is a romantic person'

Without me knowing, I smiled and giggled a little. I looked at her and hindi pa rin siya tumitingin sa akin, Is she alright? Or she's just nervous like me?

It's getting awkward na ng atmosphere dahil ang tahimik namin.
I let out a loud sigh and decided to broke the silence.

"Shall we introduce ourselves?" I asked and she nooded still not looking at me.

"Before that, I need you to look at me" I said crossing my arms and I noticed her flinching.

"Ayaw ko'ng magpakilala na hindi naka tingin sa akin ang tao" I scratched my hair a little while still looking at her.

Nakita ko na nanginginig siya at dahan-dahan niya akong tinignan still looking very nervous. Did I really frightened her? I was trying my best not too though.

Tumayo ako ang bowed a little to her, "My name is Tyrone Cortez, it's a pleasure to meet you"

After I introduced myself ay tumayo din siya at nagpakilala.

"Elizabeth Bundesiel, the pleasure is all mine" she curtsy and I find it very cute.

"Now that we know each other, shall we start eating then?" I smiled at her while offering her to sit.

Silence fell after that but I tried to have little conversations with her from time to time.

Ang hirap niyang kausapin, maybe she doesn't like this engagement?

Matapos kaming kumain, nag offer akong maglakad-lakad sa Garden ko.
I seized this time para tanongin siya pero

"Ms. Elizabeth, may I ask if you are fine with this engagement? I'm not forcing you to marry me so please speak your thoughts out" I said as gentle as possible

Hindi pa rin siya naka tingin sa akin pero habang naglalakad kami ay napansin ko na tumigil pala siya. I faced and just stared at her as I was expecting an answer.

Minutes past and she finally spoke

"I don't like forced marriage..." she stopped so I remained silent and let her continue
