Wet My Lips...

Chapter I

Charan and Kanin finally returned to Emmaly after their long and tough journey. The current king of Asawathewathin (Kanin's Grandfather) is having health issues and wanted his elder son, that is Kanin's father to take the throne. 

But for this, the sons of each kingdom had to compete in a fencing competition for their respective fathers to be the next king. He thus sent his most trusted and The Royal Bodyguard Charan Pitakdeva, to bring back Kanin for taking part in that competition. 

However, unknown to Charan, Kanin was way too stubborn. It was difficult for him to somehow bring him back to Emmaly. On the other hand, Kanin always thought that he was bought up in Europe and is not an Emmalian exactly, so why he needs to compete! 

But after a series of events they both encountered, finally Charan managed to convince Kanin and bring him back to Emmaly. But their journey was not an easy one at all. Since it was the matter of ascending the throne, definitely it wasn't an easy one. They had to face many assassins and enemies who tried to stop them from coming back so that Kanin wouldn't compete, but they both faced it, helped each other escape, and went through it together. 

Though they didn't have a good first meeting, which slowly turned into challenging each other and escaping from the enemies by helping each other, and that turned into trust and that trust turned into a bonding between them. But was this bonding slowly turning into feelings?

Kanin and Charan was warmly welcomed by the people in the Kingdom. They were welcomed with gifts, food and more. Kanin was not fully convinced with the idea of returning, but he had to so..

(Time Skip-at night)

The servants showed Kanin and Charan their respective rooms and Charan just bowed and said-

"Goodninght, Your Highness.." - 

And like that both went in their own way. Kanin entered his room and was just amazed by how royal the room looks like. He did like it...I mean love it. But ya his house in Europe is never a comparison. Thats like loads of memories he spent there which he can never forget. Kanin sat on the big king-size bed..

"Well, it not bad as i thought it would be...", Kanin said with a smirk. Then suddenly he thought about Charan. He knew himself he was distracted a lot by this man even in his dreams.

"What the hell is wrong with me...I-I just cant get himself out of my head.." He sighed.

The days they spent was actually memorable. He got flashbacks of those times when..

Kanin pulled Charan in for a kiss to disguise themselves from the assassins, Kanin and Charan had late night walks when both were not sleepy, Kanin and Charan accidently triped and pecked, They went to bars for drinks..and more.

Kanin chuckled at the thought of Charan's startled face when Kanin pulled him for the kiss..

"Ha....He was so......cute....-

Wait, what!!-

"Aishhh....Kanin, get hold of yourself...what are you even thinking....".

Kanin thought bout the moment when Charan picked him up because he was too stubborn to sleep...and definitely....the moment when they decided to call each other "Phi" and "Nong Nin". There was defenitely many heart fluttering moments between them from which both the parties blushed and escaped from each other. 

Kanin was now smiling secretely. But-

"Your highness, you should know that I came all the way till here for one reason and that is you. Between you and me, its the duty...." Kanin remembered these words and his smile slowly faded.

"Dont fool yourself Kanin...he is just doing his duty."

On the other hand, 

Charan was no different, he had the same thoughts going on..

He sighed, "What is this...feeling in me..why do i feel so weird...why i feel like.. th-there is something betw...-

He sighed...

"No way, he is the prince, and your the bodyguard, Charan, your duty is to protect him, lets not bring our stupid feelings here..." 

(In Kanin's room)-

Knock...Knock..

"Come in.."

"Your Highness, here's your attire for tommorrows Grand Ball..."

"Huh?!....

"Oh, wait...oh...right..i have to attend a ball tommorrow.." Kanin spoke to himself cause he actually forgot about it with all the thoughts of Charan in his mind....

The Grand Ball was arranged to welcome Prince Kanin back to Asawathewathin. All the neighbourhood kingdoms were also welcome to join. 

And moreover, Charan will be there too..

"Thank you, you may leave.." Kanin said with a slight smile.

 After the servant left, he just laid on the bed with his hand on his heart..

"Gosh...

Charan...what are you doing to me......."

Actually, 

Both of them were rather quiet on their way back. Kanin thinking about his lingering, doubtfull feelings, while Charan thinking bout what is going to be their relationship once they are back. Its because Charan knows his duty is to bring back the prince and then he's done. But....there is..there is something in Charan that says..."I dont wanna stop this soon..."

A/N: Hey, guys my first time writing a story.
