------------------------------- Y/N pov ------------------------------- I wake up in my dorm to light seeping through my [f/c] curtains, I blink a few times to get use to the light then I roll over to see the love of my life since sophomore year of highschool, Rick Grimes. I smile at his sleeping face his face rested and him lightly snoring, I kiss him on his cheek then go to check on Carl, our baby boy well he's not a baby he's about 3 now. "Carl? Are you up?" I whisper walking into his room no response but I hear him shuffling around so I know he's up, I flick on his light to be greeted by his arms wrapping around my side. "Hi mama!" He says digging his face in my side "Hi my baby are you hungry?" I ask "Yeah!" He says in response so we make our way to the kitchen."Go get daddy up Carl" I tell him since we have only 2 hours before classes and with a toddler getting ready is harder, "okay!" He says making his way over to Rick and jumps on him over and over until he starts stirring and rolling on his stomach to get away from Carl's attacks. "MAMA I NEED HELP." Carl yells from mine and ricks room I make my way to the room and lay on top if Rick's back and yell in his ear "GET UP." Carl is still jumping on the bed and I'm laying on Rick. "Okayy" he says still laying face down. Me and Carl go back to the kitchen and I pick out Carl's outfit for today and get him dressed then I hear heavy feet from down the hall to see Rick in black jeans and a plain black shirt with sneakers on. "Hello darlin." Rick said coming into the kitchen wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my neck "let me take Carl off your hands so you can get dressed." He said turning me around to peck me on the lips "Okay thank you my love." "No thank you needed darlin." Rick says going to pick up Carl and set him at the kitchen table to feed him some oatmeal, I then go and get dressed. ----------------------- Ricks pov ---------------------- As I'm feeding Carl I think back to highschool and how me and [Y/N] haven't had a real date since she adopted Carl, maybe I could get Shane to baby sit Carl for a few hours he loves Carl. I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I feel someone hug my neck from behind "what are you thinking about love? You look upset." [Y/N] says while still hugging me "It's nothing darlin I was just think about how we haven't had a date in a bit." I say with my hand in her arm "Yea we haven't cause of field mouse but that's okay he's worth it." [Y/N] calls Carl field mouse cause he's sneaky I chuckle at the nickname "Maybe we could have Shane babysit him? Shane loves Carl." I suggest I see she is hesitant but she says yes then I finally see what she's wearing and it's my favorite outfit on her my shirt and baggy pants with her bright red converse.

"We better get going it's almost time for class." I say and then we head out the door.
~ time skip ~ (Still ricks pov)
"Thank you for watching him Shane. Me and [Y/N] appreciate it so so much." I say handing Carl to my best friend Shane who I've know since highschool, "It's not a problem man I love field mouse, he's uncle Shane's best bud. Ain't that right mouse?" He says ruffling Carl's hair "Yeah! I love uncle shane!" Carl says resting in Shane's arms "Okay well everything you need is in his bag, we'll get him by tomorrow I better get going." I say " I love you Buddy." I say giving Carl a kiss on the cheek "I love you too daddy." He says "thanks again Shane." I say before turning to go to my truck and waving to them.
When I get home I get ready,

I decided on a band shirt, black jeans, Van's and a wallet chain which I wear everyday anyways. Now all I have to do is get the clear to go get [Y/N].
~small time skip~ My phone buzzes in my pocket, it's my text.

I turn my phone off and drive to [Y/N's] friends house. I stop and get some flowers first [yff] of course. When I get to [Y/N's] friends house I knock on the door and [yfn] opens the door and let's me in and tells me to sit on the couch. I wait for a few minutes before I hear her foot steps come down the stairs,and she looks beautiful as always. (You can change your fit if you want)

I give her the flowers I got and we leave off on our date. Our ride there consist of listening to Rap and Metal, while holding hands. We stopped and got drinks at [yfcs] I got a regular coffee with sugar and milk and [Y/N] got hot chocolate (you can replace this too) then we went to a park and had a picnic. I layed out a sheet and made sandwiches and brought fruit and potatoe chips As well, after we ate we packed the food up in the basket and layer on the sheet Cuddling and talking until the sun was rising and we had to go pick up Carl.
