Chapter 1

The adventure is just beginning

A/N: welcome to my second story. I hope you like it- I may turn it into a comic and then an animated series 😅. Enjoy this book-

It was early in the morning and the ruler of Treasure Island was getting up and ready to start their ruler duties.
"Ah, nothing like getting ready at 6am." The ruler said in a sarcastic tone. The ruler put on a long sleeved shirt with a hoodie on top and sweatpants.

[The Rulers POV]

Hi, I'm Lux! I'm the ruler of Treasure Island. I actually hate being the ruler of this island. I wanna go on adventures and have fun, but I'm expected to rule since I was the next in line to rule over the island.

"Oh King Lux~!" A guard said.

"Yes? Is there a problem?" I replied back with not much enthusiasm.

"Your guardians are allowing you to go into town. They want you to find someone to rule beside you." The guard replied back. I nodded and proceeded to pack a little travel bag.

Time Skip

     I was on my way heading out of town to not only find someone to rule beside me, but I also wanted to explore. My guardians are very lenient with what I do. They never really let me explore on my own. I mostly stayed indoors causing me to look very pale. Another thing before I head out. My parents aren't homophobic. I was relieved, because whenever I'd read in our library I'd always read the male x male fairy tales. I've never been attracted to any women. My guardians actually found this out. They were trying to see what girl I should marry, but they didn't force me. My guardians wanted me to be happy.

     I started walking towards the town. Once I entered I saw a kid that looked my age with some green haired kid and a white haired kid. They all looked about my age. The blond hair and green haired kid started running towards me. I could see the white haired kid was annoyed because it looked like he did a heavy sigh.

"Hey! Woah you look so cute!" The blond hair kid said, causing me to look away a bit. I wasn't used to compliments, so that was new.

"I'm Katserine! But you can call me Kat! What's your name?" Kat asked. I was about to respond when the green haired kid nudged his arm.

"Owie!" Kat whined before speaking once more.

"Let me also introduce my friends here. This is Gon Freecs! We met while he was traveling with his dad!" Kat said while pointing to the green haired kid, who was also wearing a cropped forest green jacket with some orange. As well as a black undershirt, green shorts, and green boots. Kat then points to the white haired kid.

"This is Killua Zoldyck! I met him when he was traveling with his sister Alluka! Alluka is actually getting ready for the hunter exam. We all have our hunter's licenses!" He said with a huge grin. I looked over to see Killua looking at Gon, but Gon didn't notice.

"Hello, Killua Zoldyck, Gon Freecs, and Katserine. I'm Lux." I said while bowing.

"Say, may I join you three in an adventure?" I said looking at Kat right in his beautiful light blue eyes.

"Of course you can join us! Just know that there is a contract you have to sign as well as form before adventuring with us. Don't worry, two out of three of us know how to help with severe injuries. Let us go to my house, so you can fill out the form!" Kat said with a joyous smile.

A/N: Do ya'll like my newer book??? I may add other anime characters, buuuuut idk who knows. This will get more interesting- I hope 😭😭😭😭😭😭
