"ugg why are you making me pick there all to cute" i reply Sprigatito now curld up in my lap purring and dozing off
"ill gife you some more time then" he said walking down the rest of the path to the big house down the path from me
stroking Sprig as i had already started to give them nick names Coco ran up to me bumping into my leg then trying to climb up to my lap like Sprig had allready done. Do to his little legs he was struggling with the task i scoop him up and put him on my shold again.
moving slowly as to not wake Sprigatito i grab him in one hand and stand up and put the kitten in the crook of my arm.
"someones a heavy sleeper"
walking over to where Quacks was looking at his reflection he looks up as i walk up and knows it time to go giving one last filck of his hair he watlles over and i scoop him up with my free hand he hops on to my open shoulder and starts climbing to the top of my head at this point i don't question him i start heading down the trail ask im waking sprigatito wakes up a mews at me as if to say he's upset i woke him up that makes me laugh a little then i realize what a strange sight i probably am a blue duck onto a hat a little red guy on my shoulder and holding a green cat in hand.
sprinting up to the gate of the nabers house i see a girl standing there she has a pink glove on and a modified school uniform her hair is in a tight ponytail and as she turns around i see that she has green streaks in the front.
"OH MY ARCEUS HI YOU MUST BE MY NEIGHBOR!" she exclaimed
instantly over wellmed by her energy but loveing it to you reply
"hey i guess i am"
"oh sorry i got carried away there im namona you?"
she said with a small embarrassed blush on her face
"ha- im y/n its nice to meet you namona, i would shake your hand but umm" i replied noding to the cat in my hands
"aww what a cutie" she says in reply to your situation
at that time director clavell walks up to us
"ahh y/n i see you have met our champion mistress namona
"hello director and yes we just said hi actually" namona say's before you can get a word in
giving her a slight side eye and then reply to the director
"i ran into her on my way to see you- wait did you say champion!"
"yes miss namona here is one of our youngest champions in paldea"
he said obviously proud of his student
"so y/n have you picked your starter yet"

i and the small grass cat had formed a strong bond all-ready even though it was disappointing that you couldn't pick all three of them i was happy you got them

scooping quacks up from his spot on me she says "ill take this little guy"

"hey i have an idea how about we battle to test your skills!!" namona shoots
"i-umm" trying to make a sentence after namonas eagerness is hard

he replies to namona and nods the the fact that the kitten was in my arms purring his heart out
