"I didn't understand why I had to kill her, too. She was harmless."

THE FLASHES OF lightning could be seen every couple seconds or so in the small town of Beacon Hills that was full of many different supernatural all around the mysterious town. The rumbling of thunder added to the flashes of lightning as rain was pouring down from the nighttime sky.

The hospital in Beacon Hills was full of people as many injuries had happened throughout the night because of the storm and many other things that had happened at the recital back at Beacon Hills high school. Yelling and shouting could be heard all around the hospital as they were ready to evacuate.

Hair a bit damp from the rain, Y/n walked along Kali as they trailed behind her uncle. The young woman had her hands in her pockets as she looked around the many doctors and nurses in the building they were in. It had been a couple hours since she had came to the high school and had spoken with Derek.

No one seemed to notice the three of them casually entering the hospital as they moved away from all the commotion and the crowd all around and closer to the hallways that were empty, knowing who was exactly in this hospital they were currently in at the moment as well.

When they turned the corner, Y/n caught sight of Jennifer at the very end just as she stepped out of the elevator. The two women made eye contact with one another just when Deucalion lifted his stick up, taking the end piece off and revealing the blade before he threw it towards the woman.

Jennifer's eyes widened when it lodged into the wall right beside her head, quickly moving back into the elevator when Kali began running forward, her claws and fangs out as her eyes glowed the alpha red it always did.

Jennifer pressed the button to go to a different floor and just as the doors went to close, Kali was able to grab ahold of the doors and begin prying them open, a low growl escaping her.

Glaring right back, the teacher's eyes glowed a bright white as she thrusted her hands forward, hitting the elevator doors as Kali was being flown back and sliding across the floor. The female alpha looked up, making eye contact with Y/n to see if the younger woman would help her up, but Y/n only turns around and walks off.

This had Kali growling as she got up to her feet, following behind Deucalion. After a couple minutes or so, the lights in the hallway were flickering when Melissa McCall found herself walking towards the elevator, pressing the button to go up. As she waited, she noticed Deucalion's stick still lodged into the wall, making her furrow her brows in confusion as she wondered just how that had gotten there in the first place.
