Lo arrived at school her moms sleek black car lurching to meet the entrance. Lo nervously scanned her surroundings watching teenagers clad in uniforms much like her own trapse into Cedar high. She searched for a sign of Willow Rylan or Cole but couldn't make them out in the crowd of kids. She began to nervously bite her nails tasting a tinge of metal as blood crept from a wound she had created. "Mom do I have to go - I - I don't want to go - do I have to go!" she whined.

" Lo I promise you'll be okay don't you want to see your friends" her mother reassured.

Lo began to pout as she slowly grabbed the door handle to open the door. She glanced back at her mother through the mirror hanging just above the dashboard, her mom gave her an approving grin and nodded her forward. Lo slunk out the car before standing right in-front of the entrance hesitant to walk in. The old brown brick school building seemed to be sizing her up like a menacing beast waiting for her to walk into its jaw. She could hear a car window roll down behind her and her mothers voice blare out " I love you! Have a good day" before swiftly driving off leaving Lo alone. Or perhaps she felt alone as there where dozens of teenagers rushing past her. She began to walk in relinquishing control to the beast, when she was distracted by a familiar voice "LO, OVER HERE," The voice yelled.

She turned in the direction of the voice and there she saw Willow a wide grin on her face willow ran through the surprisingly green grass of the schoolyard and before Lo knew it she was embraced in a warm hug her warmth cutting through the cold morning fall air. Notes of vanilla and cinnamon filled her nose and she closed her eyes to sink into Willows embrace. Students had turned to look in there direction but neither Lo or Willow cared. "It's so good to see you again your ribbons I love them Willow smiled softly grabbing Lo's braids.

"Thank you, I was hoping I'd find you" Lo responded relieved that she had found a familiar face.

"What's your first period?" Willow questioned.

Lo turned to grab the schedule she had crinkled in her pocket. Willow let out a small giggle as Lo began to attempt to straighten out the crinkles. "Umm let's see Math in room B10" Lo recited from the crumpled paper.

"No way we have the same first period, we can walk together!" Willow exclaimed excitedly.

Lo breathed a sigh of relief as she didn't have to struggle with finding the right class room or that dreaded feeling of not knowing anyone. " Where are Cole and Ryland?" Lo asked hesitantly.

"We can meet them there, they have the same first period" Willow explained.

Soon a loud ear piercing ring could be heard across the school yard. Willow and Lo rushed to get inside of the brick building before the stampede of students. Lo followed Willow to her first period class scanning up and down the hallways curiously the building was quite an old building much smaller than any of the schools she went to before. They landed at a door marked in silver metal writing "Room B10". Willow began to push open the door when Lo let out a small squeak "Wait, Willow I'm nervous" Lo looked down at her feet.

"Lo it's going to be okay trust me" Willow reassured.

Lo began watching as student by student began passing through the door of room B10, building up courage to walk in. Willow then opened the door and held it gesturing for Lo to walk through. Lo hesitantly took her first steps into the classroom immediately all eyes where on her like she was some freak show at a Circus, or at least that's how she felt. Willow followed closely behind her guiding her to the back of the class where Cole and Rylan where sitting. They both looked up and waved at her, Lo could feel her nerves starting to settle as she sat down at a seat next to them Willow following suite.
Some of the students eyes followed her to the back of the classroom where she sat, some of them began snickering and whispering. Lo looked at Willow a confused expression on her face. "Ignore them" Willow whispered.

Lo furrowed her brows and sunk into her chair.

Soon it was reaching the end of class the teachers voice droning on as if she where playing an adult in a Charlie Brown special. Nothing of substance had stuck into Lo's mind she hated math anyways and on top of that she couldn't get the students stares and snickers out of her head she knew how kids could be mean — ruthless but she couldn't shake the feeling of there stares. Her body burned with questions to ask her friends impatiently waiting for class to be dismissed.

The bell rang and students began to file out and Willow Cole an Ryland followed. Once they had made there way out of the class room into the hallway Lo erupted into questions "why where they all staring, why where they whispering, did I do something wrong? Do I have something on my face? You guys would tell me If I did right?"

"No! Lo it's not you", Cole interrupted with a sympathetic tone "Its us," he nodded his head towards Willow and Rylan.

"And for the record yes we would have told you if there was something on your face,"Rylan chimed in.

"Thanks for that Rylan" Lo giggled before turning her attention to Cole " What do you mean, by that". She asked curiously.

"I mean they think we're weird" Cole remarked.

"Touché" Willow added under her breath

Lo curled her face in a frown. She couldn't imagine why they thought her friends where weird.

You see Willow Cole and Rylan didn't have the best reputation at Cedar High they where know as "the troubled kids" you could say it's because they where different and the other kids didn't like that they didn't fit into there little cookie cutter molds and ideals they preferred playing in forests drinking wine dancing to old tunes and causing mischief . Or you could say it's because everywhere they seem to go a trail of chaos followed, they didn't particularly mean for it to be that way it just was the way they were, and if anything they embraced it, embraced the head turns, the burning eyes, the snickers and whispers. To them it was all just a silly little game.
