Betrayal 💔

You picked me up
You shot me down
You said some words that made me proud
You said you loved me but you lied
You picked my heart up and fixed it just to shatter it again

I cried for you in the darkness.
You said you'd do better but that was clearly the hardest.
You came to me and took away everything
My love, my care, and my empathy.

Tho I do forgive you my heart can never be replaced.
I gave you my all and I gave you a place just for you to use it and throw me away.

What a shame.
