Tired, I entered my apartment, gripped by exhaustion.
It was nice to see my mother again, but also exhausting.
With my mind still on today's events, I made my way into the living room, after taking off my shoes and jacket.
My guest was no longer lying on the couch, like I had left him.
I was almost about to panick - to the point my eyes stopped at the balcony.
There he stood, his clothes on again; as he just brought a cigarette to his mouth.Well then.. I thought to myself.
I entered the kitchen to prepare food.
Although my mother had taken good care of me before, Hanma would definitely want to eat something.
After all, I couldn't let him starve. So I put the rice on and set about warming up any leftover meat on the stove.
After five minutes, I heard the balcony door close and then footsteps - footsteps that got closer.
After a few heartbeats, I noticed someone standing in the doorway watching me.I didn't took my eyes off the frying pan, to pretend not to notice him.
I was curious, what he would do or if he would even greet me at all.To my surprise, he suddenly entered the kitchen and stood behind me, just to check what I was 'cooking'.
A second or whatever time, i noticed how tall he actually was, he could easily look over me without much effort.
I shuddered, as I felt his cold hand gently placing itself on my hip.
"What are you doing?~♡"
He murmured close to my ear.
This question was unnecessary, he saw what I was doing.Probably just an flirty incentive to start a conversation with me...
"Put your hand away."
I replied in a calm but firm tone.He obeyed my command and got away from me.
I turned to him and smiled to lighten up the mood.
"Sit down, I'll be done soon, unfortunately I don't have a dining table, I hope you don't mind..."Announced and done.
I prepared two plates and brought them to the couch, I gave him one plate and put the other on the living room table. He accepted without a thank you, instead just eyeing the food disinterested, before beginning to try it.
After I sat down too, I watched him curiously.
Actually, I still didn't really knew anything about him.
We haven't had any serious talks yet."Does it taste okay?"
I started carefully. He nodded without looking up, shoving a spoonful of rice into his mouth.
The food wasn't anything special but surely he was grateful for it?
At least I hoped so."So Hanma.. now tell me something about yourself, I know you are not obliged to tell me anything about yourself, but I would like to know who I have taken in here with me..."
I nervously ran my hand over my thigh, he would surely react annoyed again."You always want me to tell you something about me, but why don't you just tell me something about you?"
He suddenly smiled at me."About me??"
I looked at him in amazement.
Yes, how rude of me.
I hadn't even introduced myself right yet, and demanded that he reveals something about himself.
"Ummmm..."
What should I tell him?
He already knew my name.
My eyes wandered around the room pondering.
"Well I'm a college student and uhmm... my hobbies are..."I told him a little about myself, nothing spectacular, just a few interests of mine and about my current life situation.
"boring"
He commented after I was done."what?"
I crossed my arms infront of my chest to glare at him.
"Ah yes, and of course your life must be so much more special, sureee..the street, drugs and such..very cool.."Hanma said nothing.
He put his half-eaten plate down on the table and got up without even looking at me."where're you going?!"
I called after him.
Completely confused, I followed him to my front door.
I watched him wordlessly, as he put his shoes on.
Was he about to leave?
Did i got him mad or maybe even hurt him in some way with my words?"I'll come back, just going for a quick walk outside.."
He murmured, facing the door."A walk? Now?"
Why so all of sudden?"Why it interests you though?"
He finally looked at me again but his annoyed expression just gave me a feeling of rejection."I'm not saying anything..."
I mumbled and stepped back a little. He let this stand and .. - left me, not without slamming the door in front of me.
Wow...
What a guy.But somehow, i felt guilty now.
I didn't knew him, why should i care?
But... maybe I should follow him?No, what for?
And then?
He said, he would only go for a walk.
And then come back.
And if not?
Then my problem was solved, right?
And if he will infact come back - then alright, that's the way it is.But what if I really hurt him and he won't come back?
Then my bad conscience would plague me, and this for a long time.
And I didn't needed that at all!
Ughh, damnit..
