Chongyun woke in a more than groggy state groaning as he turned over to Xingqiu "Good morning, love," he yawned, scooting closer to his boyfriend. Xingqiu yawned and looked up at his lover with a smile "Why good morning my Prince," he said as he laid his head on his lover's shoulder, Chongyun blushed at the nickname and smiled. "Don't forget Xiangling is coming over for dinner today so we have to clean up a bit," Chongyun said as he kissed Xingqiu on the head "but we can get to that in a bit," Chongyun quickly added as he smiled as he peppered light kisses all over his partners face.

Xingqiu laugh softy at his partners affection "I had almost forgot about Xiangling coming over," he said as he wrapped his arms around Chongyun and gave him a few light kisses and hugged him close "But I agree, that can wait a little while" he chuckled out softly. Chongyun giggled at the kisses Xingqiu was giving him, and laid in his arms for the next few minutes.

Soon Chongun decided to get up and head to the kitchen to make some coffee for the two of them. Xingqui, on the other hand, took a few more minutes to stretch before he got out of bed and joined Chongyun in the kitchen. "Shall I cook dinner tonight? Or will Xiangling be taking over the kitchen tonight?" He laughed to himself as took out two mugs from the cabinet and placed them next to Chongyun and washed his hands. "Well, we can always offer, but you know she'll be cooking up a storm as soon as we hold the knife wrong," he chuckled and poured the coffee for the two and added his copious amounts of sugar and milk. "That is true" he laughed and side hugged Chongyun as he took a sip of his coffee "Mmmm, you sure do have a sweet tooth my love" he said as he gave Chongyun a kiss on the forehead, before setting his mug down on the counter.

Chongyun and Xingqui laughed and talked to each other, taking small sips of their coffee. "I'll put on some music so we can start to clean, love," he said, moving over to the radio and playing some random dancing music. Xingqui smiled and started to dance to himself over to the sink as he put on dish gloves and softly sung the song playing from the radio. Chongyun brought the few dirty mugs and dishes left around the house, kissed Xingqiu on the cheek, and danced with Xingqui a little.

Xingqui cheeks were dusted with a light shade of pink at the kiss "Thank you my love" he said as he continued to clean dishes and stared at Chongyun with a look of such love on his face that only Chongyun could ever see. All Chongyun could do was smile back before he continued to tidy before he swept and mopped the floor.

Soon after Xingqiu was done, Chongyun grabbed his waist and started to sway to the music. Xingqui laughed at Chongyun and placed his hands lightly on his shoulders as he swayed with his lover "You are such a dork my love," he smiled and kissed Chongyun's cheek lightly. "Well you still love me don't you?" He said sarcastically. Smirking, he kissed Xingqiu and continued to dance. Xingqui kissed Chongyun back and laughed "Why of course I love you my prince" he smiled at him "And I will always love you, no matter what," he said as he kissed Chongyun's nose and gave him a toothy grin. Chongyun smiled and moved in closer, resting his arms on the other's waist and his head on his shoulder "I love you too," he said simply.

Xingqui swayed with Chongyun for a few minutes in a pleasant silence, until it was broken by the home phone ringing. Chongyun sighed and let go of his lover "I'll get it," he said with a tone of disappointment in his voice "Hello? Oh, hello Auntie, what's up?" There was a moment of silence, well, more like 3 minutes of silence. " ....oh my god, you must be joking." He started to tear up "oh god" His face filled with tears. "Thank you for telling me" Chongyun hung up as soon as he could and fell to the floor as he cried. Xingqui Stopped what he was doing and rushed over to Chongyun "What happened? Are you okay?" He took Chongyun into his arms and held him tightly "M-my Halmeoni just died" Chongyun said between sobs. Xingqui's face went from worry to sadness, he held Chongyun's face in his hands and wiped away the tears to no avail as they continued to fall to the ground. "I am so sorry my prince, I know how much she meant to you," Chongyun fell into his lover's arms "What am i gonna do without her," he cried, hating the sting of fresh tears falling from his eyes. He held onto Xinquis' shirt. "I know my prince. '' He sat there and held him tightly for a few minutes.

"How about we eat some popsicles? Hm? Any flavor you want," he kissed Chongyun's cheek "Then we can hang out on the couch and watch Avatar last airbender," he stayed in the same position and continued to hold Chongyun in silence, giving him as much time as he needed to say anything.

After 15 minutes Chongyun nodded "O-okay," he said with a sniffle. Xingqui smiled at him, picked him up and laying him on the couch "I'll be right back my prince," he said as he went to the kitchen to grab Chongyun's favorite flavored popsicle, a box of tissues from the supply cabinet, and his favorite hoodie. As he gave the Popsicle and hoodie to Chongyun he frowned and started to let a few of his own tears drop, he hated seeing Chongyun unhappy, even the look on his face when plans with friends are canceled breaks his heart, but this, this look of sadness hurt Xingqui to the bone and he couldn't bear it. He jumped on and hugged Chongyun tightly and just started to cry "I'm so sorry my darling, you don't deserve this. You shouldn't need to feel so sad,"

Chongyun tried yet failed to hold back tears as they just kinda sat there holding each other and crying. After a while they calmed down and just cuddled on the couch as they watched AVLA.

The two had laid there for an hour or two until they heard keys at the front door. "Hey guys! Sorry I took so long I went out to the market to get fresh veggies-" Xaingling cut herself off as she looked over at the couch. The smile was wiped off her face "oh my, what happened? Are you too okay?" She dropped her bags and took their faces in her hands "You look like you have been crying for hours" she had a truly pity full expression on her face. "Oh, i'm sorry we forgot to cancel...yeah we're fine but my halmeoni just died, and i got the phone call a few hours ago" he said with a quiver in his lip.

"Oh you poor thing!" She yelled as she pulled Chongyun into her arm, not caring if she squished Xingqui In the process. "I'll make you a big dinner! After all, food makes everyone feel better!" She exclaimed as she began to march her way to the kitchen with her 4 bags of groceries. Chongyun smiled and wiped his nose on his sleeve "want help?" He asked, already knowing the answer. "NOPE! ABSOLUTELY NOT! You are in no condition to help Yunyun! I simply refuse to allow you to help!" She yelled from the kitchen as she took down a few pots and pans, humming along to the music that was playing in the kitchen.

Chongyun chuckled and laid back down with Xingqui kissing him on the head "thank you, for everything, my love,"
