So Makoto has short term memory loss, not on an extreme level, but enough that he forgets pretty much everything he has to do in a day

For example he'll, right as he gets to school figures out the he forgot his shoe, one of them, not two, but one

He doesn't just lose his shoe he simply forgets to put it on, for this reason he is pretty unsure about what he does, this is also why his voice always has a little hit of nervousness
