" Society here in this tiny town being built each day after the fall, We were just lucky we found a survivor in a field. But unfortunately, she's mute so it was hard for some people to understand her. Unlike me, I had to learn this kind of stuff when I was working in Aperture, well before they put me in a sleeping chamber for so long. But at least I can still remember it all like it was only a year ago. But ever since what happened that day, when the machine turned on us, I still had dreams of when they strapped me into the sleeping chamber and sent me out of the facility before the gas got in. Not much of us made it out due with most of the facility underground. I had to leave friends, hard work and memories behind. We weren't far from the facility but no one really thought it was worth it. I, on the other hand, had been sneaking in and stealing scrap for my newest project, well it was my oldest project but I had to leave it behind when I was shot out. But for now, let's just look at the present. "

RING RING RING! RING RING RING! RING RING RING!
The small alarm clock went off as I tried to get at least some extra sleep but with the town and my project, I had to get up. I reach my hand towards the alarm to turn it off, my body dragging me to not get out of bed. Waking up to check outside, the wheat fields were still fresh enough, clouds in the blue sky, and the radio tower that was built poorly is still standing. I put on some comfortable shoes and made my way out to my small kitchen and made my daily breakfast... which was only either Milk & Bread, A breakfast sandwich or coffee, so with my taste I went with [Option]. Tired by the early wake up and trying to eat we're not a good combo but it helped me through the morning. Hearing birds cawing in the sky, the wind blowing the wheat, oh it was calming but also boring to hear it everyday. Once I finished, I simply cleaned up and ran back to my room to get some clothes. Looking outside and seeing it was windy outside, thought it would be good to wear my favorite [F/C F/S ] today along with some Dark [F/P]. After changing I almost left my room before turning back to grab my bag for my daily adventure to a abandoned place and grabbing my old aperture coat and id. Once I grabbed them all, I slipped on my [Y/Sh] and made my way out.

Feeling the breeze hit against my face, I knew at least the oxygen didn't leave the planet. Walking about toward the town which was a close 10 - 15 minute walk, I took the time to look at my surroundings, just like what I saw through my window, blue skies with clouds and birds. It was old but relaxing, as 10 minutes past and seeing the town getting bigger I turned to see the Aperture Science entrance where we found Chell. My body was holding me back from going over there to see if I could still get in. Last time I did, I might had triggered a alarm and ran out quickly. Might had put it in a lockdown but who knows. Finally made it to the town, hearing people talk about the crops, animals and the days. Everyone knew each-other so of course some people gave the greetings to me and so did I give them the same. Once I reached towards Chell, who was busy trying to talk to someone, noticed me and gave a wave as I waved back and walked to the small lab place they made for me, it wasn't much but it was stable for the storms. Entering the building and flicking on a light, boards full of paper, chalk and other things were attached to the walls or floors. What stood out the most was my project, it looked most like a human as it was for my mission, to go pick up a old friend from the Aperture Science building, if I make it out alive I hope. Taking a old map I had with me of the Aperture Science facility, I placed that old thing onto a table before and started placing the random scraps onto the robot I was making. 4 hours past and it fell all apart, my heart shattered after the hard work of what felt like years to make it. Tears flowing into my eyes as I dropped down to the floor with my fists wiping the tears. After a while I got back up with my eyes still salty and wet, grabbed the map and made my journey to the underground to pick it back up.

Storming out of my small lab like a bat out of hell, people could see the dust pick up from my pace, I felt tired from it, really, but this was more important than everything else in this boring old town! This is was going to be the day I bring back old friends to the surface in a new body!
