CHAPTER 1: So this is love?

-------------------------------------------------------------

Life was currently far from peaceful, due to the vision hunt decree of course...

However, Kokomi wanted to clear out some things.

One was, what does she truly feel for the tengu? She had always caught the divine priestess' eyes, which was quite the problem since the tengu was her self-claimed 'enemy' however, it didn't quite feel that way? Feelings sure are a hassle when in battle.

Two was how the traveler would meet with the Shogunate puppet.

What was better than combining the two?

It was dark moonlit night, the pinkette approached the Tengu Warrior's house with ease

The priestess hesitantly knocked onto the indigo haired woman's door, hoping for a reply.

Fortunately, the Tengu answered the door.

"Ah.. Sangonomiya. You're here." The indigo haired woman said, uneasy due to the visit being unplanned.

"Heh, yes Kujou, I have come here to discuss a few important matters, shall we discuss this indoors?" The pinkette said in her small voice.

"Ah, yes of course." The Tengu then let the pink haired priestess in.

The pinkette followed the warrior into a small room.

"So?" The indigo haired lady raised an eyebrow at the pinkette.

"Hn, as you know, we have ran into a few problems due to the vision hunt decree." The pinkette started ass the warrior listened whilst staying silent.

"However, we have currently got information from the traveler that the shogun who is currently ruling over Inazuma is merely a puppet." The pinkette added.

"Hm.." The Tengu started to think to herself.

"Do you know any way the traveler can come into contact with the puppet?" The pinkette hesitantly asked, hesitance not showing though since she knew how reckless this was.

"Yes, however, I cannot just provide you with such." The Tengu complied.

"Hm, is that so.. Seems like I'll just have to advise the traveler to get through you first." The pinkette muttered.

All the Kujou did was stare and admire the cutie infront of her.

"Now, I'll probably have to stay here for a while due to some 'minor circumstances' Is that alright with you if I may ask?" The pinkette said thinking smugly to herself. 'Now this is my chance to get closer to her.'

"Fine by me." The Tengu stated.

Now, do you have a room I could stay in?- Oh do you have a library by the way?" The pinkette bombarded the warrior with questions, all the warrior did was nod.

"Mhm, follow me." The Tengu said, and with that the pinkette followed.

"Alright!"

..........................

The two then approached the room and Kokomi was first to enter the room.

She was mesmerized by the amount of books and the provided bed, it was truly large room, enough to fit in.

The pinkette's eyes were practically shining at the sight.

"This seems great, fine by me!" The priestess said with a smile.

"Very well then. I'll be off downstairs." The Tengu said quietly.

"Thank you, Kujou..." The pinkette uttered.

The Tengu kept quiet before saying

"You're welcome..."

And with that the Tengu left whilst the priestess was left with her thoughts.

She grabbed a book 'The Legends of Vanessa.' from the bookshelf and sat on the bed.

"Perfect... Now I just need to get closer to her, right?" The pinkette said to herself.

"As friends, yes just friends... Right?" The pinkette wondered.

Snapping out of the trance, Kokomi's attention went back onto the book.

"Now, which page was I?" The priestess flipped throughout the pages before finding the page she was previously on.

"Hm, I'll have to ask the traveler about Lady Vanessa one day, she seems like a nice person. I heard she was a myth by now." The pinkette muttered,

Meanwhile, with the Tengu, she was looking at the time whilst sat down on the bed.

If she was being honest, she was thinking about Kokomi.

The priestess was very mysterious upon coming to the Tengu's house out of the blue, and asking to stay over? It was very sudden but the Tengu was somewhat glad, she did find the pinkette cute but she was unsure of her feeling for the priestess.

The Tengu pushed away her thoughts and lied down to drift into the dreamlands.

Back with the priestess, her thoughts of the Tengu had came back.

"What are my true feelings for Sara?" The pinkette trailed off.

"Enemies? Not likely. Friends? I don't even know..." The pinkette sighed.

"But what if I'm inl- No! Kokomi. Stop thinking of that.." The priestess scolded herself.

"You cannot disappoint your clan."

Kokomi sighed once again before saying

"Remember Kokomi, you're the Divine Priestess, you shouldn't be inlove with your-" The priestess cut herself off.

She stayed silent for a moment.

"Did I just say inlove?..." The pinkette's blue eyes widened in disbelief.

"I suppose I'm just restless I- I should get some sleep.. These are just late night thoughts." The pinkette said in doubt.

She put the book she was reading down and lied down, hoping to get some rest, and get the Tengu of her mind.
