"Are we too young for this? feels like I can't move~" the sweet taste came from the gum in her mouth as it moved from side to side while she mumbled out the words of one of her favorite songs along the walk she was taking back to the bar.

she already has what Mr. john asked for, trading the things inside the black bag with a fist-sized plain box and putting it in the said bag.

it was almost 4 pm and she jogged the rest of the way back as she knew customers will arrive from now on. she sighed as she was almost a block away from where the bar is. taking another glance at the little grey pocket watch, she slowed down her running as she was getting close and needed to look at least composed in front of whoever might be there. closing the lid of the watch with a click, her thumb brushed over the dramatic drawing of a dragon curved into the round metal. a little smirk made its way to her face as she remembers the first time she got a hold of this.

"you look like a sweet little girl. I bet you are." even when he was on a knee, the little girl's glossy eyes still had to look up at the being in front of her. "tell me, little one, are you lost?" the male gave her a sweet smile while gently holding onto her little fists.

the younger one's arms slung around the bigger being's neck as tears slid down her cheeks. the male chuckled as he cooed at the girl sobbing softly. "it's ok. we'll find them. ok?" he stood up and let the little girl soak his suit with her tears as she nod into the fabric, agreeing to go along with him.

"oh, look at this guy!" the older male brought a teddy rabbit, almost the size of the kid, out, shaking it from side to side for the little girl to see. "I call him Joshua. he is soft and friendly and is good at comforting. do you want his hugs while we look?" the girl rubbed an eye while nodding with a pout. "here." he smiled softly as he handed the plushy to her. she instantly engulfed the soft plushie in a hug as the guy started to search around the playground for a mother or a father looking distressed as they desperately search around the area when his eyes caught sight of a woman looking around the area with a single pink sneaker in her hand. the male went up to the woman along with the little girl in his arms.

"excuse me." the man captured the lady's attention, "I am guessing you are looking for her?" the male revealed the younger in his arms who was hiding behind the big plushie, "mommy!" the younger one extended her arms out for her mother as the female quickly took her into her embrace. "Celine, baby. I thought I lost you. where did you go?" the woman looked at the younger girl with a relieved sigh. she then looked up at the taller male. "thank you so, so much. I really appreciate what you did." she turned back to her daughter and gave her a little peck on her forehead and whispered something into her ear. "thank you, sir." the little girl shyly voiced out as she hid half of her face in her mom's embrace.

the guy let out a chuckle at the cuteness radiating from the little being, "you're welcome." the guy then fished something out of his pocket, "here," the guy handed the young girl a pocket watch. "this is for you." the woman looked between her daughter and the male with a raised brow, it was quite random for him to hand her such thing but didn't say much about it.

"babe?" a guy came into view, looking breathless. for a second when his eyes landed on the other male, his eyes widened before going back to normal. "o-oh, you found Celine?" he asked with an uneasy smile.

"This gentleman found her and returned her to me." his girlfriend replied.

"Oh, good. t-thank you sir!" the male bowed to the taller male.

"make sure she doesn't disappear from your sight next time." the male sounded like he was threatening him, but the girlfriend thought he was giving him a piece of friendly advice.
