Waters Legacy Part 1

Chapter 1: In the Beginning

A girl standing in front of an infamous school. Checking her phone, she saw a message coming from her sisters wishing her the best. She felt nothing about it since she had a condition, and that is not to feel any emotions or whatsoever.

Suddenly, a car almost hit her. Luckily, the car stopped a meter from her. She stared at the car and a man went out in the driver's seat. She stared at him while he stared at her for a long time amazed how beautiful she was. She immediately walk inside the facility while the man was caught off guard.

"I...", he can't utter a word since he was still mesmerized by her.

"Hey, your in the way. Park your car right.", an old man yelled.

He then got a hold of himself and apologize to the old man. Went inside his car and found a parking space for his car.

The bell rang. Every one was on their seats. The professor came and introduced himself. He provided the school rules and regulations to the students. When a man suddenly came in.

"Mr. Smith, seems like you're late. Way to start your semester.", the professor scolded.

Rye Smith, a blond and blue eyed boy, just ignored him and sat down. Greeting his friends.

"If you have that much time to flirt around with women and hang out with your friends then I hope you also have time to take my subject seriously.", the professor added.

Rye just laughed it off. He never take his studies seriously since he's smart enough to passed his subjects. However, he's an asshole. He loves to party with his friends and play around with girls.

Suddenly a girl suddenly came. She was the girl he almost hit awhile ago in front of the school yard. The professor pause when she saw the girl. Everyone looked at her. They were all amazed by her beauty. She looks like a Goddess, I must say.

"May I ask for your name?", the professor asked.

"McKenzie Waters.", she answered directly.

"Ms. Waters, are you the new student?"

"Yes"

"I see. I will let you off since it's your first day. But I don't expect you to be late moving forward. You may sit down."

Waters looked for a seat. Rye pushed his friend to move to another seat. His friend understood. Rye offered his seat to Waters. She sat down.

"Uhm, you're welcome.", Rye said confused. "I'm sorry about what happened back there. I didn't mean to almost... almost hit you with my car.", he apologized.

Waters ignored him and continued to pay attention to the professor.

"I'm Rye Smith by the way.", he introduced while holding out his hand for a handshake.

But Waters continued to ignore him. He made a fool out of himself and his friends were laughing at him. He glared at them and they stopped.

The bell rang. Everyone went out. Waters was left behind. A moment later. She went out as well only to find out that Rye was waiting for her outside. She stared at him. He was smiling stupidly at her. She left. He followed her.

"Do you still have classes? Do you want to hang out?", he asked.

Seeing how persistent he was Waters stopped on her track.

"So what do you say?", he asked with a smile on his face.

"Not interested.", she replied straight forward at him. She once again left him behind.

Rye on the other hand did not follow and continued to smile like an idiot.

"Hey Rye, let's go man.", one of his friends invited.

"Beautiful and tough, I like that.", he replied.

"What are you talking about man?"

"She talked to me."

"Wait. Are you in love? Mr. Playboy is in love? No way. That's impossible.", he's friend joked.

Rye looked at him. "I guess I am."

"You sure about that? You're gonna make all the girls cry.",

"Definitely sure.", he smiled.

"Well then let's celebrate. But dropped the smile man you're creeping us out."

They all laughed and went to party.
