*Groan!*

I woke up and god! My everything hurts. I opened my eyes slowly thankfully it wasn't bright.

"Oh? Are you awake?" I hear a familiar feminine voice ask. I snap out of what ever that state was and stiffened. "Come on now. You already know that I don't like it if you don't respond." She says.

"I- I thought that I w- was only suppose- pose- pose to respond like that i- in the car." I say. I look around the room and see that I'm not tied up. Obviously I'm not gagged or blindfolded. But I'm also not clothed. I turn red and go to try and cover myself.

*Growl!*

She growled at me and I snap back to my original position. She probably thought I was gonna reach for a weapon.

"Well right now you can answer. Also if I wanted you covered up I would've covered you." She says. She was leaning on a door way. Now I might not be restrained but that's because she put me in a cage. Yes. I said it. She put me in a cage.

"I- if you're g- gonna k- k- kill me. Please. J- just do it quickly." I say. She pushed off the door way and started coming closer. I jumped out of the chair I was in and back away.

"Now if I was gonna kill you I would've. If I was gonna torture you I would have restrained you." She says. She kept coming closer to the cage. With each word she spoke the more confused I got. I didn't see or hear keys so I stopped backing away. "Now think. If I'm not gonna do any of that then what else could I possibly want w/ you?" She asks. She raised an eyebrow and examined me. I looked down and thought. Her words were a bit weird. I doubt she wanted me as an assassin. Especially after the trial thing. She didn't and said she isn't interested in killing or torturing me... yet. Then her words about wanted me covered came to mind. My eyes grew wide.

"U- um could it b- be you need an assassin?" I say backing away.

"Don't play stupid." She says. When she got to the cage she was leaning on the bars. But when I stated my question she bounced off them while answering me.

"T- then what else would you w- want? I mean my skills as an assassin are good. But I did wrong y- you. S- s- so if it's not for my skills then that leaves what you already ruled out." I say.

"You know even if you are my mate that doesn't mean I won't hesitate and put you in line." She says. Wait a second.

"Mate?!?" I say surprised in every sense of the word.

"Wait are you saying you can't feel the mate bond?" She asks. She grabbed the cage bars and pulled herself closer to the cage. She had a look of confusion and concern on her face.

"Y- yeah?" I say unsure if talking is the right thing to do. She looks down and gets lost in thought. "S- so are you gonna reject me now?" I ask.

"WHAT!?" She yells. She slammed against the cage and looked at me as if she was ready to kill. I stiffened and jumped back. "Why would I reject you!? Wait! Do you wanna reject me!? I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!!!" She growls out and on the last sentence she roared it out and hit the cage. Her eyes held pure rage. I backed even farther away till I was on the other side of the cage and trying to back into the bars. I was shaking so hard I might of resembled a Chihuahua.

"Boss!" One of her men yells as a bunch rush in. They look at me then her and back to me.

"Don't! Look! At! HER!!" She growls and they immediately turn away.

"B- boss. W- what happened? We s- s- suddenly felt a huge murderous intent c- coming from here." Her man says.

"I want a doctor here in 2 minutes!" She growls out. They rush out and the doctor soon comes through the door. It wasn't even a minute.
