Chapter 1:Abyss

( this can be seen as a prologue)

Hello dandelions! This is the only chapter I have completed so far because I wanted to see if people would actually read this fanfic or not.
You are always free to give suggestions or criticism ^o^
Another thing to mention some characters may be occ but is not by purpose because I haven't really written something like this before.
* The Traveler can be read as Aether or Lumine

The moon hung high over the sky as he ran through the ally ways his legs shaking from the exhaustion, he stumbled through some garbage before collapsing on the ground practically dragging himself towards the nearest wall for support

His back hit the rough stone, taking deep breath's " what I would do for a glass of wine right now " venti spoke his voice dry his throat felt like he ate sand again, he shuddered at the memory not one of his best moments.

Venti thought he would never get away form those people? Abyss monsters? Venti honestly wasn't sure.

Few hours ago

" one more glass master Diluc !" Venti shouted from where he was sitting clutching his lyre in his hand, the red headed man took a deep breath the glass he was wiping slightly cracking.

Placing the glass down quickly Diluc grabbing another as he poured a glass of dandelion wine " why are you here so early bard" Diluc said looking as if he ate something sour while pushing the glass towards Venti, the tavern being nearly empty considering it was around mid day

The only thing keeping Diluc sane right now is the fact that Kaeya isn't here along side Venti.

" ehe! Do I really need a reason master Diluc! Be sides why are you here? " Diluc shot the bard a deadpan look about to retort
before the tavern door opened" Tone-Death bard!" Paimon shouted entering the tavern with the traveller behind them
"hello Char- Master Diluc! " she said quickly correcting herself when she noticed it was Diluc instead of Charles
" nice to see you again master Diluc " the blonde haired traveller smiled before looking towards venti " Venti could you help us with something..?" the male in question quickly he chugged the glass of wine down

" what can I do for you two on this fine afternoon " venti said his words a little slurred, the traveler sheepishly scratch the back of their head

"Well you see..."

Venti and the traveler headed towards Cape Oath
" so Traveler what did you need!" Venti looked towards Traveler slightly pouting when he saw Paimon eating an handful of apples.

Before the blonde could get a word in
"Thėu needid heup with the spiril Abys!"
Paimon said while eating an apple, his eyes narrowed and his smile fell for a moment " manners Paimon " the Traveler only sighed looking back to venti " we thought you might be able to help " Paimon and the Traveler share a quick look in between them before continuing " There is something off about it this time around" his thoughts ran wild with what if's the main one being 'will the Traveler ok?'.

" enti?"
"Venti?"

He snapped out of his thoughts

The traveler looked towards Venti worry clear I'm their eyes
Venti quickly put on his usual smile " sorry Traveler!" He spoke Paimon huffed " Paimon thinks we should head up!" She spoke pointing a finger towards the base of Cape Oath

At some point he and Paimon started to bicker back and forth going around in circles, his smile widening at how angry Paimom was.

Meanwhile the Traveler only sighed accepting their fate.

He was soaked.
They had finally made on to the island but when he landed he had slipped on a rock his back hitting the water with a splash, he sat up looking confused from a moment before pouting noticing both Paimon and Traveler laughing, At least the Traveler was trying to hide it!

He jump up out of the water using the winds dry him off, before he accidentally sent sand into their eyes.

He just knew Paimon wasn't gonna let go of this for a while..

They headed towards the portal Venti had an unsettling feeling like something was about to go horribly wrong " be careful Traveler and Tone-Death bard! Paimon is routing for you!" She spoke her eyes filled with worry for her friend " we will be fine Paimon" she said with a small smile couple more minutes later the pixie disappeared to celestia knows where.
He had a feeling that this wasn't the first time it happened.

" let's go Traveler!" He spoke cheerily the traveler nodded as they both went in.

He winced as bright light greeted him and loud noises, as his eyes adjusted he was people looking at him.

His eyes widened when he saw tall stone buildings and ones that were made out of glass, the people around him started to whisper while looking at him, then in the corner of his eye he saw something strange.

Quickly turning around he was a man? He was huge with horns, sleek black hair, multiple eyes and dark blue skin, an abyss creature? Many questions ran through my head such as ' why aren't they scared..?' Along side 'what if the civilians get hurt'
He quickly took out his bow and pointed at the abyss creature. People started yelling, grabbing their children closer to them and yelling about heros

Now he was even more confused

he fired his charged arrow towards to the abyss creature before the arrow hit an fast blur grabbing the abyss creature,

There was an bunny girl with a smirk " that one was close! But now how about you come with me ?" The rabbit spoke after putting the abyss creature down.

He ran using the winds to help him.

The last bit was annoying and most definitely not great but it works
