The sun was starting to set, honestly he had lost count of how many times he has been chased  through out his time here, he  mainly  managed to escape thanks to the wind but it was starting to get tiring.

Letting out a huff looking out towards the buildings he knew he was in different world  that this wasn't one of the 7 nations  the closest guess he got to was Inazuma because of the way the people were speaking( yet he still barely understood anything) and he couldn't feel the leylines that would normally be there.
That was the finale nail in the coffin officially confirming Venti's thoughts ' ok first find a safe place to stay and rest ... easier said then done'

he didn't mind sleeping outside he had fallen asleep plenty of times at windrise but considering but happened the last couple of hours? He wasn't gonna risk it.

He didn't know what kind of danger was out there.

He knew nothing of this new world.

He sat on a bench in a park he had found, the sky was now pitch black with only the
occasional stray stars  could be seen, his slightly   Shoulders slumping letting out a slow hum 'even the stars are different in this world'

His eyes started to grow heavy he must have been more tired then he thought.

Venti's slumped against the bench before  everything went black.

He winced when the light hit his eyes letting out whine, he jump up eyes widening.. so this wasn't some dream he had,he let out an groan rubbing his eyes he noticed people shooting ether disgusted or confused glances in his direction...

He looking at his clothing then he looked at the passerby's... he stood out... great another issue for him.

He let out another groan thinking about his options before one single thought hit him ' he's becoming like Master Diluc!'

While looking around for a anything that could help him( some people doing a double take as he went by) he tried to blend into the crowds as much as possible.

His eyes lighting up when he saw a huge white building with many other stores inside immediately rushing in.

Slowly stopping when he made it some where in the middle looking he noticed some moving stairs moving upwards towards other stores without a second thought he ran towards the stairs.

He was so tired! Collapsing on a bench he had ran up and down the whole area twice at least. he sat up just as quickly as he sat down (read:collapsed) seeing another store that was selling fruits and what was in the front? Apples! 'It wouldn't hurt to get one.... I'm sure they wouldn't notice if one went missing' speed walked towards the store he heard a scream.

" VILLAN" that caused a chain reaction

He spun around when he heard people screaming as a part of the walls had started collapsing' fuck' he ran, people bumped into him shoving their way through the crowd

" Mama! Wait" when he heard that he frankly looked around looking for the kid that had shouted, he cursed under his breath running to the girl who had been knocked over because of the panicked crowd. Immediately scooping the kid into his arms  she immediately clung to him "mama!" She looked up a bit of snot running down her nose her grip tightened "shhh" running his hand through her head " it's alright it will be ok"

The ceiling had started to fall apart the falling pieces landed in front of the two of them causing dust to rise.

He brought the girl closer to his chest
Quickly glancing around seeing pillars and rocks blocking ways to the exit as people started to get desperate to get out shoving anyone is their way ' almost as if the rocks fell that way on purpose..' the girl in his arms had passed out by now.

His heart sank if he didn't do something he knew there would be more casualties... this could cause him more trouble but it would be worth it..

For now the building had stopped breaking apart as the tips of his braids started to glow as the rocks and pillars got lifted up thanks to the wind before he could get a word in people ran towards the opening

"Wait!-" his words got cut of as some more crumble fell damn it.. his wings sprouted out of his back using the right side of his wing to keep both of them protected, the tips of his braids grew brighter lifting away the rocks that people were trap under..

He looked around making sure everyone was out of rubble and the danger was over before falling down his side hitting the ground he shoot the child in his arms one last look as his wings curled around them protectively the glow in his braids dimming.

This vision fading to black

Hopefully by the time this fanfic is over my writing will improve I'm sorry this took so long gonna be completely honest I rushed the ending because I felt bad with how long this( sorry Wattpad reader's)
