Ch: 2 Luna

Luna's POV

I knew Edgar's family was rich, so when he said we were flying to Korea, I thought we would have first class tickets on the airplane, but I was wrong.

We had a full-on private jet. There were TV's, food, drinks, you name it, I felt like I was in heaven.

I sat on one of the jet's cozy couches with only Demitri at my side. Koto was too busy documenting the trip on social media, and Edgar was making business calls.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" I asked, aiming a remote at the television.

Demitri scooted himself closer to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders, "Sure," he said, "as long as it's not some sappy chick-flick."

I rolled my eyes, "Fine, then you pick." I giggled and tapped the remote on his head before handing it to him, causing him to scowl back at me.

"Ok, I will."

Regrettably, he ended up choosing some action movie that I wasn't all too interested in, so I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.

I noticed how good he smelled, it was, I don't know, manly. Like cologne, but different than the way his hoodie smelled. The hoodie he had given me truly smelled like him, which I preferred.

"Hey," Demitri whispered, sending a jolt through my spine. I looked to find him staring at me, "Do you not like the movie?" He asked.

"Oh, um no it's not that, the movie is great," I lied, "I'm just really tired." This part was true, we'd been flying for hours.

"I can turn it off if you'd like." He paused a beat, "That way you can get some sleep."

"No no, this is fine, really," I gave a soft smile of reassurance.

Demitri smiled back and turned to face the TV once more. I closed my eyes and laid my head back on his shoulder, returning to the comfort of the moments prior, only this time, Demitri began to twirl a strand of my hair through his fingers. At this I pressed myself closer to him, trying to soak up as much of him as I could.

Something about this felt different than all of the other flirty times before. Demitri always seemed superficial, like he was putting on a show, but this here, this felt sweet and genuine, like maybe I was really falling for him.

I was also falling asleep.

"We'll be reaching South Korea in twenty minutes." Edgar's voice boomed over the pilot's intercom, I swear I could kill him.

Edgar rushed out of the pilot's cabin and stood, blocking our view of the TV.

Demitri scooted away from me, trying to see around Edgar.

Ugh I really could've killed him.

"We're almost there!" Edgar said overenthusiastically, "And guess what, go on guess."

"I don't know." I groaned back, "Just tell us."

"I got us the nicest hotel, and I rented out the whole thing, so we'll have it all to ourselves!" He clapped his hands together like a little kid.

Koto burst into the conversation, eyes wide, "You got us a whole entire hotel? I'm going to have so much content!"

I walked through the elaborate double doors of the hotel. The place was gorgeous, marble floors, an elaborate chandelier hung from the ceiling, and the elevators were all made of glass.

"Ok," Edgar said, handing each of us room keys, "I'll be staying in the penthouse, and the three of you have rooms on the floor below me."

I snatched my key from Edgar, "Perfect." was all I said. I was exhausted, and I felt disgusting from the long flight, so I headed straight to my room with plans to shower and fall asleep.

The room I was staying in was huge, and I had the whole place to myself. I tossed my bags onto the floor and headed straight for the bathroom. There was a big tub, lined with jets, and jars of different bath salts to choose from. A large walk-in shower was placed next to it, so I immediately stripped and turned the water as hot as it could go, desperate to scrub the grime off from the long day. It was relaxing and refreshing, all at the same time. I let the steam and the floral smell of shampoo engulf me, melting all of my stress, and thoughts in general, away.

After what was probably like twenty minutes or so I finally turned off the water.

The air outside the shower was freezing, but on the vanity next to me was the softest bathrobe I had ever felt, throwing that on as I walked to the bedroom, which was also huge, and had a gorgeous view of the city.

But honestly, I couldn't care, I felt absolutely dead, so I slipped between the sheets and passed out almost instantly.

I woke to the sound of my phone buzzing on the nightstand, "God why do I always wake up like this?"

It was a text from Dimitri.

Want to go explore the hotel w/me??

I stared at my phone, I had no idea how long I'd been asleep for. My hair was still damp, It couldn't have been that long then.

I responded,

 Sure

Give me a minute

I dug through my suitcase, and threw on some black sweatpants, a white baggy shirt, oh and of course my converse. It was a sloppy outfit, but I didn't care, no one else was here but me and my friends.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. It was Dimitri, gorgeous as always, he was wearing jeans and a black sweater, simple, but sleek all the same.

"Hey." I said, kinda awkwardly, but Demitri seemed not to notice.

"I heard they have private karaoke rooms here."

"Oh cool." I responded, "Should we take a look around?"

He smirked, "Absolutely."

We wandered the floors of the hotel, there was a roof-top pool, a spa, karaoke rooms, and a very classy looking restaurant.

"Hey I'm pretty hungry." Demitri said, leading me closer to the restaurant. "Let's order something."

"Ok." I responded, taking his lead.

We walked past all the tables, and up to the bar. "I'm thinking I'll just order something quick, and then we can go up to one of our rooms to hang out." Demitri declared.

I smiled, he wanted to spend more time with me, alone, in one of our rooms! "Ok." I said again, trying to stay cool.

The bartender took Demiti's order, he insisted that he order for me as well.

Demitri looked over at me, "I'm gonna go find a restroom, I'll be right back."

I leaned against the counter and smiled, "I'll be here."
