Chapter 8-Atlantis Emotions

A/N: Hi,this is my second and last post of the week. FYI this chapter might be boring so you can skip it if you want. I think it won't contain any important info. Okay bye!

Lila POV

     Going up those stairs was like going through hell. At some point my feet were burning but then we were there at the top of the castle or mansion or house or whatever this place was. There was these crystals on the ceiling. In my opinion it look kinda creepy, like those crystals could just grow and poke your soul out. A shivered at that thought.

     "Atlantis!" Fitz said.

      Atlantis! It's real! And I thought it was just a myth! Damn, this world is fucking cool! I mean pretty cool! Yeah I never cursed. Hehehe! Okay I'm really weird.

     Then a beam of clear light appeared and I pushed myself to be disappeared into it once again. I hated doing it but this was the only transportation I've ever seen. Not that I would know how to get anywhere in this world.

     When we got there a man was waiting there already, I bumped into him. He slanted sideways and tried to keep his balance. I was about to say sorry when I remembered I was soposed to not exist. Fitz held him steady l, then I saw their reasmbleance.

     Shit! Gosh what's wrong with me today!

     It was Fitzs father! How could I be so blind!? Their accent, teal eyes, dark hair. It was obvious, duh! I could see how hard Sophie was trying not to smack the air, cause that was not where I was! Ha adventage of being invisible or atleast not in view of many.

     "Dad, are you alright?"

     He nodded, "I'm fine! But how are you, Sophie?"

     Sophie was intently watching at the air like she was expecting me to pop out  in thin air. Too bad I wouldn't, too bad, too sad and now your mad! Hahaha! I thought.

     "Oh me? Ya! I'm fine, great!" She gave a thumbs up, with a smile as fake as my life.

     "Well that's good! Hope what's about to happen doesn't affect that mood," Fitzs father commented.

     "Oh trust me my mood can't get worst..." She grumbled and I snickered.

     He showed them a little tornado of water in the open ocean, "We'll have to jump into that," he said.

     "That!" Sophie said while I thought That! Then I noticed that we said/thought the same thing. We can't even lose our connection of besties!

     "Yep!" Fitz said enthusiastically. "I could push you..."

     I protectively stood in front of Sophie, that bitch isn't touching my friend even if I might "like" him he is NOT touching Sophie.

     "Nah! I'm good! I can totally do it myself!" She laughed slowly. Her hand touched my back.

     I can feel you! Sophie transmitted.

     I jumped, Damn! Atleast make me know before doing it. Don't want to pee myself in the ocean.

     Oh please! I'm going SO gonna talk to you later. But you can walk away a bit. I'm good, Fitz won't do me harm.

     That's what you think... I mentally grumbled in disgust.

     I got off of her way. But if he did push her I was SO going to push him in to!

     Hold my hand when you jump, we go together forever!

     Bruh, but fine. I am kind of scared.

     The connection was cut. I just patiently waited. While the rest talked it out.

Sophie POV

     "Okay, let me remind you. I'm Alden, Fitzs father! Now we will go in Atlantis. Go with Quinlin and Councilior Terik. They want to test you."

     Like that doesn't put more pressure. Right! Just test me. Blah blah blah! Ya right!

     Alden jumped in to the tornado of water. That was new, I would never do such thing.

     "Jump!" Fitz said.

     "Oh just give me a sec!" I slightly extended my arm and hand. I felt another warm hand grab mines. I was safe. My protector, aka personal bodyguard!

     "Your going or I'm pushing!..." Fitz said, tentatively getting closer to me.

     I felt Lila's hand tighten and I jumped before she could make any other move. I would regret bringing her if she killed him yet. The tornado was long and deep, it felt endless but then my feet touched land. Yes! Finally and I didn't die!

Lila POV

     I was about to hit Fitz when Sophie pulled me into the turmoil of water that reminded me of the day I started feeling other feelings. Although being an "Empath" did NOT make me more empathetic it just made me think how pathetic other were.

     My feet touched the ground, the infinity ride had ended. There's was new world before my eyes. Atlantis! Or I guessing it was that. It looked... interesting. I was amazed my the architecture. I was inside a giant city that's inside a giant bubble that's inside a giant ocean in a giant world!

     Sophie pulled me towards Alden, then came Fitz. I had made a promised that once I had time I would smack him with my bat and leave him unconscious for a while, hide his body and y'all probably don't want to know the rest.

     As we walked towards a building, the crowd was big and so were their emotions. I felt mine getting unstable. I was losing control with so many emotions. I wanted to run and hide under covers. That wouldn't help but still. I tightened my hold on Sophie's hand. That didn't help, Sophie's emotions were the strongest there and it hurt me more than life. I spontaneously let go of her. Ran backwards only to hit myself with Fitz.
