Chapter 10-Truth or Dare

Sophie POV

     Was I really going to tell Fitz the truth? How would that affect me? I wasn't that mean right? But Fitz wanted the truth? Could I lie to him? After he saved me and brought me to my true world? What should I do?

     Once we were done with the two meetings with Quinlin and Councilior Terik, we were back to Alden's home. That's were I had to make my final decision.

Lila POV

     We were back from Atlantis, my powers were back under my control but those hours in that place were... interesting. Nah! It was horrible! Actually I don't know which moment will be worst, Atlantis or Now in a few minutes when Pretty Boy comes in.

     I was sitting on a single couch at the corner of the pink sparkling room. Sophie was still mad and I felt it even if she tried to denie it. Wonder what she'll say to him? Truth? Or not?

     Then there was a soft knock and the accented voice who asked to come in. Sophie opened the door and greeted him. Then she went back to awkwardly packing stuff she needed.

     He sighed, "Are you going to explain now or not? Incase you lie to me... well I'd never notice. But please don't lie to me." Fitz begged.

     Please don't tell him, please don't tell him, please don't tell him! I begged in my mind.

Sophie POV

     I was in the middle of the wall and the sword. Like a sandwich, the top bread as problems, the bottom bread as problems AND the middle filling as guess what? PROBLEMS!

     "Well you want the truth–"

     "Okay wait!" Fitz inturpted, "If you wouldn't like to tell me the truth I'll dare you to do something, agree?"

     I thought this through, what bad could happen with a childish dare? "Sure, I agree!... so what's my dare?"

     Fitz looked ultimately surprised, "So...you're not going to tell me the truth?"

     I shook my head, "Nah! Now dare please."

     He nodded, "Okay, umm...I dare you to...tell me about your protective friend!"

Lila POV

     Shit! He wants to know about me? For no reason at all my heart went hummingbird mode and I felt stuff in my stomach like butterflies. What, no? Lila! Don't be insane, he doesn't see you like that! I'm such an idiot!

     I felt Sophie feel nervous but Fitz was a bit of curious and... Nope not what I think.

     "Well... what do you exactly want to know about her?" Sophie asked, she was struggling to not tremble and look like avoiding the question.

     Fitz was as curious as a little kid. "Well, 1. What's her name?"

     "Classified. Anything else?"

     "Classified? Well... how old is she?"

     "Hmm...14. Anything else?"

     "Can I meet her again?"

     "Well I don't know about you. But sure if you go back to San Diego. That's it?"

     He nodded looking quite satisfied.

Sophie POV

     What does he want with Lila? Is... is he into her? Nope, not possible. I need to talk to Lila now!

Lila POV

     Sup, Lila?

     Holy crap, Sophie! You always scare the living shit out of me! Oops–sorry for the curse words.

     Nah, it's fine Lila. But there, I saved you. You're welcome, bestie. But why did Fitz ask about you? Do you know why?

     Not a single clue, Soph. Why you asking?

     Just curious. Well bye I guess. Get ready to light leap again.

     Ugh! Can't elves do anything the normal way, like walking or taking a taxi or some shit–eh hem something?

     Don't think so.

     Sophie's vibes were strange, mix of anger, shock and envy. Nothing normal but I guess we were leaving, Sophie had brought my stuff up once we got here and she nearly screamed at me for bringing weapons. But she didn't thank God!

     As we went up the stairs once again I imagined Sophie's knew house. Probably a castle like Fitzs house. We stood under the crystal roof.

     "Havenfield!" Alden ordered, a crystal popped and shone a clear brilliant light.

     We walked towards the light and apparently light leaped. Oh how hard was it for me to feel normal, it was like losing a bit of myself but I stayed strong and kept my body together even if the light called me.
