*We all managed to get back to Princess Peach's castle in the Mushroom Kingdom, and we were so exhausted from battling Bowser.*
"Oof... I'm glad that we made it back, because all of that walking got me tired..." *Groan*
*I said when I sat down on the bench near the front entrance of the castle.*
"Well you just can't go to sleep outside! Come on in we've got a room prepared for you~!"
*I mustered up last bit of strength I had to get back up and follow the group inside the castle and to the guest bedrooms.*
*Peach led me to one of the guest rooms.*
"Here dear, you can sleep in this room~!"
"Also, I'm terribly sorry about your poor house.
It seems that place has so many good times in it..."
"Thank you so much Peach, and you're right about that I'm really gonna miss that place.
It had so much memories of my family there too..."
*Thinking about what happened to my house and reliving my memories of the past was too much for me, then I started to get overwhelmed with my emotions.*
*Sniff* *Sigh*
*Tears start to fall down from my face, and they dripped onto my leg. I start to sob uncontrollably
and covered my face in grief*
"Oh (Y/N).... Everything will be okay I promise..."
*Peach try to comfort me and gave me a hug.
I wiped my tears away, but I still felt guilty about not doing something to try and save my home*
*Sniffle*
"Thanks Peach, but I still feel guilty that I couldn't do anything to save it..."
*Peach noticed how I was still devastated, but soon she had an idea that can help me.*
"Hey, how about you stay here in the castle with me until we figure something out?"
*At first I was shocked at the offer, because it was so sudden, and I was still feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything*
"W-Wait are you s-serious?!"
"I mean I appreciate the offer, b-but I can't accept something as big as that!"
*I retaliated with a hesitant tone in my voice*
*Peach then looked at me with concern*
"I know this is all of a sudden for you, but you need somewhere to sleep right now. And to back up my point your house was destroyed, so you don't have anywhere else to go."
*I thought it over and realized that she was right about that part, and basically I can't find another place to sleep at this hour. Then after a couple more minutes of thinking I made my decision*
*Sigh*
"Okay... I'll stay here for the time being,
but I don't want to be a burden to you guys."
"It's okay you wouldn't be in the way of me and the others, and besides the best part is that we can have all the girl time we want~!"
*Peach said with a laughing smile*
*I laughed a bit at the thought and smiled*
"Heheh... Yeah, I guess your right..."
*I sat myself up on the bed and yawned*
"Geez... I'm about to pass out on the bed without changing my clothes."
"Well then, my Toads have prepared your bath for the night and your pajamas are in the fitting room."
"And I hope you have a good rest tonight, because we're going to have a busy day tomorrow."
*Peach said as she stood up and started to leave*
*I sat up on the bed and started going towards the bathroom, but then I stopped*
"Peach, wait a moment!"
*Peach turned around looking confused, but then was surprised with a hug*
"Thank you so much for everything, and I'll try to repay you the best way I can."
