So we have Cordelia and Mikaela
Cordelia is white while Mikaela is Hispanic

Mikaela was born free bc her parents had paid money for them to be free

So basically the conflict of this story is
Cordelia and Mikaela fall in love but 😨
Cordelia is forced to get married with an ugly ass man

Anyways the ending is beautiful 😨😍😱
So the day of the marriage Mikaela comes but she wasn't allowed (btw her parents support) she pulls out a paper and reads a poem she wrote about her love for a woman(Cordelia)
Cordelia's dad then stands up and starts cussing out Mikaela telling her to leave 😒
She then runs but Cordelia ran after her 😨
Mikaela was originally gonna go into her parents carriage then she saw Cordelia 😱😍
Cordelia then jumps in the carriage and they share a kiss (their married btw)
I'm shedding tears thinking about the ending 😔
