Rosie's doorbell woke her up from her sound sleep.

With a start, Rosie snapped her eyes open. She glanced at the time on her side table: 7:00 a.m. Who on earth would visit her at that time? Even though it's not particularly early, who could blame her? It was nearing 4:00 a.m. when she was able to sleep.

She had canceled her appointment for today's baking class last night since she knew she wouldn't be able to make it to another session without Jennie. She would miss her terribly. She made the decision to stay up late in order to simply sleep all day.

She was about to ignore her doorbell when she recalled the new stove she had ordered. Was the delivery scheduled for today? way to ruin her plans to sleep in.

She even neglected to comb her hair. She wanted to get back to sleep, so she was eager to get the parcel as soon as possible. She made an effort to keep her drowsy state.

She wasn't prepared, though, for the person standing behind her door to jolt her into consciousness.

A gummy smile and cat-like squints in her direction.

She must be dreaming still.

She has to ask, "Jennie?"

She heard the brunette in front of her let out a short, lovely chuckle before being embraced.

Right instantly, Rosie started to melt in the hug.

Rosie can smell the vanilla scent that she missed terribly.

Rosie tightened the hug.

So, it's not a dream. Rosie doesn't want to wake up, even if it is.

"I missed you." She hears her say.

"I missed you too." Rosie said. Because she did. She didn't know how much till she was currently holding her in her arms.

Rosie felt her smile, and so did she.

not a dream.
