MOST DEMIGODS AND WIZARDS have one major secret they keep from people unlike them. unfortunately, having born in both worlds, seraphine kalyani potter (call me seraph, please) has two, and has kept them well-guarded from both sides of her life... until the summer of 1976, where defending herself from a monster attack using underage magic lands her in hot water with the DMLE. with her mother busy in peru with dragons and international law and other mother out of the picture, seraph is sent to live with her uncle fleamont who welcomes her with open arms. of course, seraph would rather spend her summer at camp like she always has, but perhaps staying with her cousin james would not be as bad it sounded.
UNFORTUNATELY FOR SERAPH, she is not the only guest staying with the potters this summer. apparently sirius black- yes that sirius black, has been staying with the potters since a week ago. it's no secret that sirius black absolutely hates slytherins, and seraph isn't sure his fondness for the potter family extends to slytherin ones (despite the fact that there are so many). and if that wasn't bad enough, the rest of the marauders are also staying, and they are oh so curious about seraph and the camp she goes to every summer.
IT IS ONLY THE SUMMER OF 1976, but seraph sorely wishes it was anything but.
A/N: hello everyone! i am llama, and welcome to solitary, my love letter to my heritage, marauders, and a solid fuck you to JKR and her idiotic ideologies. this is my first wattpad fanfic (but not at all my first fanfic), and i am so excited to write a very teenage, summer slice of life story through these little idiots (but, this may get darker later on). seraph, while she is my original character, can be read as a very specific reader-insert if you're into that, but other than that she is very much my own character with her own ideologies and specific looks and stuff, so beware if you're not into that, lol.
DISCS: 1, under no circumstances can this story be published anywhere else without my consent, and if you see this anywhere else apart from wattpad, please report and tell me as well because i certainly have not consented to it. 2, this story will be littered and i mean completely littered with headcanons and other non-canon elements like the potter family being POC (from west bengal and bangladesh, specifically), remus lupin being jewish, amongst others. 3, even though i'm writing this as an HP fanfic, i don't, in any way, agree with JKR and her ideologies regarding gender identity and the blatant racism she writes into her books, so for copyright purposes, i am building upon what meager lore we are given, and saying cowabunga, and this will not be monetised in any way lol.
