"Again." I scowled at the boy teaching me. My family and I had arrived roughly a week ago. We had fled our home to seek refuge with the Metikayina Clan. The Sky people had returned to find my father, so we left to protect our clan. My siblings and I had been receiving daily lessons from The Clan Leader's two children, Tsireya and Aonung. The latter was currently being a giant pain in the ass. He had been rude ever since we arrived and I was getting sick of it.
"Now." Aonung snapped.
"Yeah, yeah. Calm down fish boy." I said fed up with Aonung's short temper. I glanced at Aonung to see that he was scowling. Good. Serves him right. I mounted the ilu preparing to try riding it again.
"Your position is all wrong." Aonung moved closer to me. He grabbed my arm and moved it to where I supposed I was meant to hold on. Damn he's good looking. What did I just think. I shook my head trying to dislodge the thoughts. The boy then placed his hand on my lower leg shifting it so that I was sitting in more of a crouched position. My skin felt like it was on fire wherever he touched me. What is wrong with me?
"There. Now try again." Aonung said stepping back from me. I did, at first I did well but when we entered the water I lost my grip and went tumbling from the ilu through the water. I resurfaced and could hear Aonung laughing as I made my way back to him.
"You are terrible rider." He said through laughs. I just scowled and turned away from him sick of his teasing. I decided I was done with lessons and was going to look for Lo'ak, Tuk and Kiri.
"Hey, hey wait. Where do you think you're going?" He asked grabbing my arm he looked annoyed that I was just walking away from him.
"To find my siblings." I said shaking his arm off. He's so obnoxious.
"The lesson is not over." He protested.
"It is now." I kept walking ignoring his protests. Stupid pain in the ass, why does he have to be so annoying and attracti- what the hell am I thinking. He is not attractive. He is a male. That is wrong. Right? Yes absolutely it is wrong.
