Chapter 9: Failed

Evan's POV:

I growled in anger, Gregory blocked me out of his head and mind. But I have other plans to find them, " I will find you, love. Either hard way or easy way, " I said, then I evilly laughed. Then one of my the vamp-lusts came. " Sir, " they said, " Yes, report, " I told them.

" Well, we looked all over Hurricane. We cannot find them, you see they are off the radar. Plus, they are smarter than you think, " they reported, and I was mad. " Go on, " I said in cold tone, and they looked terrified. " Also, Fable and the other Rose-Afton's siblings know that, you are the one behind the murders, " they reported the rest. " Go, and I need to think, " I said to the vamp-lust, they ran out of the room immediately.

This is going to be harder than I thought. I scowled, and I looked at a picture of me and Gregory. I sighed, why was I acting like this? This isn't me, but at the same time it's me. But I have a feeling that I never wanted to kill the mages. I brushed those thoughts away, I need to process with the plans. But I think I know where they might be. I left the hideout, and I spread my wings, then flew to the location.

The plan is going according to our plan. I giggled, once we rid this world of mages. This is going to be the end of them. Who even needs mages, what they going to do. They are useless, even then when they were humans before. The same useless kind of them all, after what they did to us. We didn't deserve this pain, but once we get our hands on that most powerful pure soul. We can rule the world, but we need that vamp-lust to lure them out.

After he left, I was crying. My mother left me, Everland and father, because she sacrificed herself to save out kind and the others. But Ivory turned some of the humans into mages. But why did she do that though? I wanted to finish what my mother started, but my aunt Ivory said that not all humans are evil. But I didn't want to believe her, but this is my consequence. I become heartless soul.

We will kill all the mages if I have to save this world. 

Gregory's POV:

I was in the secret room, and Prim was asleep. I wish I could fall asleep so easily, but I have insomnia. I sighed, and I looked outside. Then I heard the attic door opened, I saw Fable. She came up, and closed the door. " Hey Vi, " I said in a tired tone. " Hey Iv, " she greeted back. " I know what happened back there. But I wanted to ask you something for a while, " she said, quietly. I nodded in respond, " Well, I wanted to ask that, when you were Ivory. You promised to take care my children, right? " She started to ask, and I nodded. But only one of them didn't like me.

" I wanted to ask about if you seen G̸̨̻̻̊̈̀͆̃̃ē̷̛̥͖̰̲̰͙̭̖͉͘ͅm̵̡̠̣̤̣͇͉͒̇͋̚͜m̴͉̜̯͘á̴̡̛̪̞͔͕̰͕͍̱̂̆̓̂͆̎̑̂̐? When you were taking care of them? " She asked, " For a few months, until she went missing, then Everland and Val died of old age. For me, I roamed the world for few centuries, then I died, then reincarnated as Georgia, but I changed my name because I am trans, " I explained to her, and she nodded

Then she closed as she left the attic, she is right. I really need sleep, but then I felt a familiar presence. I looked at the window, and I saw a figure. I was scared, but it was so dark. So, I couldn't see the figure, then it just disappeared.

I decided to go to sleep for now. I went to my bed, and I pulled the blanket over me. Then I closed my eyes, then I fell asleep.

Evan's POV:

I left their house, but I knew they were there. But when I looked at the window, they were there. My love thought he can hide from me and my team, huh? I will come back tomorrow, but for now, I need to process with my plans. I will not fail this time, as flew back to hideout. I sighed, I will come back tomorrow when none of them are around. I mean Primrose needs to go to school. So, I won't bother talking to her, but I need to talk to Gregory. But I will go when no one is in the house, then I will have a little chit-chat with Gregory.
