"Believe In Us"

Chapter 9.

Sitting in a living room and talking with your ex boyfriend , and his wife is a best experience ,right?
That situation is getting worse I was playing with his daughter. She is so sweet , and nice. Daniela is good mother.
Salome have just a two years but she is so smart.
Maybe Sara is right, I felt like I don't even know him when I played with Salome... she is so innocent, I couldn't do that to her. And Daniela is a great person, that wasn't her fault , James probably didn't told her that he have a girlfriend.

"So , Lucia can you tell me where are you from?" he asked me , but he didn't know that he know me better than myself.
"Columbia" I told him and I wanted to kill myself. I shouldn't tell him that.
"Really? I am from Columbia too"
"Actually I am from Mexicò. I am born and raised there " I could feel Sara's killing look on me.
"Wow, that's great"
"You always wanted to be an actress?" Daniela asked me.
"Well..." I had to think about what I was going to say because he knows all about me and my dreams.
"Yeah , I always want that " I told them opposite of what is true.
"When I saw you for the first time, you remind me of someone" he started.
Oh shit ... I knew it!
"You remind me of someone who I knew before..."
WHO I KNEW BEFORE? You think who you leave like a dog and never send a message back?
"She was my best friend, and when I started my professional career she never call me or send a message" he said and I look at Sara shocked, I think I have panic attack in that moment.
"Guys pizza is over , Lu please help me , would you?" She said and she pulled my hand.
She drag me in the kitchen and closed the door, and opened the window and pushed me.
"Breathe deeply!" She said to me and I do that.
"Did you hear that? HE IS FUCKING IDIOT! FRIEND,I NEVER CALLED HIM? "
" I heard that but he couldn't tell the truth in front of his wife baby..."
"Sara I got to go right now!"
"Okay baby I understand you , but just wave at them , tell them you have to go because... your cat! Your cat is hungry!"
"Okay don't worry!" I could control my breathing , when I calmed down.
"Just breathe deeply, remember?" She told me and kissed my cheek.
She stayed in kitchen, and I just run away from the house.

After a long walk with him in my mind , I decide. I will let him go. Not because of him , but because of Salome and Daniela, they don't deserve that.
It will be hard.
"It is hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember Lucia" I heard a tiny voice in my head.
He took a piece of me a long time ago and ever since I have been searching in all the wrong places to get that piece back. Even today I can see the two of us in older couple whose love it lasts a lifetime.
I was torn from my thoughts by my phone.

Juan calling you.
"Hello Lucia , it's Juan, remember me right? " he started to laughing , so I laughed too. I almost forgot why I move to Madrid.
"Of course I remember you "
" I just wanted to remind you that you have to come to my office tomorrow, we have something to do and talk about it. So can you? We have to start with new project this month"
"Yeah I didn't forgot..." I told him but yes I forgot that information.
"When i have to come tomorrow?" I asked him.
"9:00 you okay with?"
"Of course see you tomorrow then "
"See you "
Fuck I completely forgot...
Now I have to go to work...it's good from one side , and from other side it's not.
Wonderful life,right?

FLASHBACK
"Dolores I fallen in love with someone"
"Really? Nothing new James , you are always in love with someone"
"Yeah , but this time.. I truly am , and it's hard.."
"Why ? "
"She don't want to be with me" his eyes were filled with tears. He looked at me and then he looked at the moon.
"That can't be possible James, every girl in Cùcùta want to be with you!"

Once again I have to listen about that. We are best friends and he always talks about how he loves another girl , what they doing when they are alone.. every fucking time.
For a million times I fantasized that he pronounced my name , but not this time.. even I reconciled with the fact that we can't be together.

"Who is that girl? I will kick her ass right now!"  I told him a little bit aggressive and he smiled at me.
"Tell me James!"
"You..." he started and made a little break, I don't understand why.
"You are my bodyguard " he finally finished his sentence and hug me and kissed my forehead.
FUCKING BODYGUARD!
