Ranboo hated moving because usually it means the family fostering him has decided he's not good enough for their family and then he's right back at a group home while his social worker looks for a new family that will eventually send them back anyways sometimes he feels more like a dog than an human it's like how people send dogs back to pound because their "too vicious" or their "too much to care for their or they just don't fit in with the family" it's kind of funny because families have said that about him as an excuse as to why their can't keep him like he was object to just give back.

So yes they despise moving to different houses but this, this is different they moved with the family meaning that them of all people got adopted which is honestly unbelievable they still feel like any moment their wake up and it all be dream but he knows it's not or well he hopes but they've been adopted by a family that's been fostering them for the past year and honestly they can say that they've never felt happier, in all his past houses he's just never felt like he belonged in any of families but he feels seen here like they view them as a person not a dog or object not anything less than what they are and they can confidently say that being adopted is everything they thought and more.

"Ranboo?" Ranboo opens their eyes, snapping out of his thoughts looking up from where he lay curled up in some blankets on his bed. "Yea?" he replied to Brooke, his mom. Who walked over to him sitting on the bed "I got good news your stuff for your room came" Ranboo sat up "really?" "Yup it's downstairs can you come help bring it up" Ranboo threw off his blankets he's been waiting weeks for the stuff he ordered from amazon to come he runs downstairs walking over to his boxes that sit by the front door his mom follows him picking up a big box putting a smaller one on top Ranboo picks up a box and carries it up the stairs him and his mom have to make about five trips before all the boxes are in his room they let out a sigh of relief finally putting down the final box.

"Alright then let's get started" Brooke says looking over at him "what do you want to unpack first'' Ranboo walks over one of the bigger boxes Brooke walks over with scissors opening the box Ranboo is practically vibrating with excitement he's never been able to decorate his room before so it's a new experience and their excited can't blame him.

Ranboo is hanging up some posters above Their bed. They are almost finished decorating their room, all they have is just one more box to open "so your mother enrolled you and siblings in school, and you will be starting tomorrow by the way" his mom said causally but Ranboo practically drops the tape they hold as their turn around "wait what? Their ask shocked their mom turns towards facing them "I have school tomorrow?" They ask still completely shocked "yes, you guys have already missed a couple weeks of school so you need go, but if it's really too much you can have a couple more days" she says reassuringly Ranboo takes deep breath "n-n no I can go I kind of forgot about school and all" They said nervously the truth is they're rather do anything else than go to school but they don't want to let their mom know that Brooke sighs looking guilty "I'm so sorry dear I should've told you early."

Ranboo hums "it's fine" it's not really but they turn back to their poster anyways they know that their ma just forgets to tell them "Ma can you help me hang up my posters?" Brooke walks over smiling still looking a little guilty "of course dear."

Ranboo looks around his room scanning each corner they just finished decorating their room and are now making sure everything looks how they want it they look at their bed pushed up in one of the corners of the room they have posters of bands that they listen to on the wall their also have two shelves with some books on it some are old books from their other houses but most are from the local bookstore that they went to with their older sister yesterday they look away from their bed to their closet doors that are right next to their bed it has some of their art pieces that they ripped out of their sketchbook on the door they pick up some of their clothes on their bed and walk across the room over to their dresser putting the clothes away and close their door they mama had left to help their mother make dinner.
