So...
SEASON 4 IS OUT!!!
BUT

I will continue to write oneshots and whatnot, but it won't be based off the season 4 lore because it is in Chinese dub. I don't know where I can watch it in Chinese with the English subs so if you know let me know lol. If not I will wait until the English dub comes out and write within that lore.

Also, I just wanted to say a few headcanons I have about the characters.

Keep in mind that these do VARY between oneshots. These are my most common ideas I will mention but I won't always follow along with these and write other things as well, so keep that in mind.

Sun Wukong
Has adhd

Has trichotillomania -> The urge to pull out his hair constantly

Does not have a good relationship with the monk which effects how he interacts with Tang -> same with Pigsy and Zhu Bajie

Can't read and write in modern language but can read and write in ancient language or can't read or write at all

Hides his insecurities through being arrogant and overconfident

He feels like he isn't allowed to express his emotions and problems

Never wanted to go on the journey but he was forced

HATES Jade Emperor and Erlang

Macaque
Has separation anxiety/attachment issues

Has fluffy fur

Understands Wukong's reasoning for killing him but he still thinks he shouldn't have killed him

Hates the monk for mistreating Wukong and dislikes Guanyin for giving the monk the golden fillet

Didn't know that Wukong was trapped under the mountain for 500 years making him believe Wukong abandoned him and he also never knew he was forced to go on the journey

Has a soft spot that no one knows except about Wukong

Macaque has phonophobia - extreme fear of loud noises (ESPECIALLY thunderstorms)

Tang

Is aromantic and ace because of being a reincarnation of the monk and naturally feels against it

In Tang's free time other than being a freeloader and doing shit so the group, he gives little kids history lessons on Chinese mythology

He is the smartest in the group when it comes to knowing their knowledge on enemies

Red Son
Has atychipohobia -> fear of failure as he doesn't want to fail his parents PIF and DBK

Wants to be friends with Mei and MK but won't admit it

Doesn't like the cold

Has temper issues

Has on and off relationship with his parents

Sandy
Always has hope in hopeless situations

Rescues any cats on the streets or from anywhere

Builds high tech vehicles that the gang uses to get around

He stopped being the warrior as Pigsy mentioned because he harmed so many people and thought he was a monster

Owns a cat/tea therapy for people

Mei
Extremely loyal to her friends and those who she cares about

Has a crush on Red Son but is too scared to admit it

She does constant training with Red Son about the Samadhi fire

She has an on and off relationship with her parents

Does motorbike racing for a sport

Bai He

Her parents died

Is scared if the mayor as she doesn't know if he is dead, alive, or in prison

Is a bit a bit scared of Wukong

Is scared of herself and thinks the destruction is all her fault

Pigsy

Has a crush on Chang'e - if not he HEAVILY admires her

The most logical one of the group other than Red Son

Pressured into being a professional chef - he eventually grows to love it which effects him into not wanti mg to pressure others about what they want to do

Nezha
His relationship with Wukong varies

Has low self-esteem because he loses in fights a lot

Finds comfort with lotus flowers - can make them bloom

Does extensive training because he feels as if he doesn't do enough and thinks that he isn't good at combat

Has a split personality from childish and adult

He feels like he can't be a kid and be his 12 year old self because he is meant to be a warrior

MK
Sees Wukong and Macaque as father figures

Either has a crush on Red Son or sees him as a brother friendship - DEPENDS

Doesn't want Wukong to abandon him like his parents did - he knew in season 3 he was on a "vacation"

Only wants good in the world

IS GULLIBLE

Chang'e
Is a little bit cautious and sceptical about Pigsy because of Zhu Bajie and trying to seduce her one too many times but she tries to hide it because she doesn't want anyone to know

Given rabbits to be her companion whilst stuck on the moon

Occasionally she mourns over her husband because she took the elixir of immortality and regretted it the second she got banished to the moon

She admires Sun Wukong for rebelling against the Jade Emperor

Macaque dislikes Chang'e for always clinging onto Wukong because she admires him (but not in a hateful way)

Jin & Yin

Only want to annoy MK and the others because they want attention because their mother doesn't give them enough attention and their dad is unknown and was never around

Hope you like my headcanons, but they will vary and not be in every oneshot.

Although for the hot spring oneshot, there might not be a second part because I never thought beyond it.
