As James read the letter sent to him he fell to his knees screaming. "THAT SELFISH FUCKING PRICK HOW COULD HE" he was shaking violently tears racing down his cheek his breath limiting itself. "What did I do wrong, my star" he quietens down still crying hard. "James we heard screaming what happened" Remus and Sirius race downstairs and James hands them the short letter from regulus causing Sirius to fall to his knees crying and Remus is left shocked.
James woke up in a state of shock crying hard. His husband awoke too and hugged James tight. "Jamie are you ok" regulus led James's head to his chest playing with his husband's hair and shushing him. "I-it was horrible. You were dead" James had these nightmares often and regulus was always there to help and hold him. "I'm not going anywhere my love" whispered reg into his husband's hair reassuring him "p-promise?" James sniffed "promise" regulus replied
