Leilani Balde despised her brother's best friend.
He's like a sour candy that dissipated on her tongue, leaving a bittersweet scar on her palate, Alejandro keeps Gavi around always. Though for Lani, he's akin to sticky gum on the bottom of her shoe sole, it's annoying and refuses to be removed. He had fucked her over completely, and yet he was so persistent on being granted the privilege of her forgiveness.
Pablo Gavi was Leilani Balde's best friend, but he killed that the second he decided her biggest rival, was the one he wanted. Leilani had been lead to believe that her and Gavi were getting somewhere after all the flirting and physical touch. But he took a complete 360 and asked out the girl she's always been second best to, Anastasia Llorente.
He had injected the dagger into her heart and twisted it, leaving her a bloody mess completely. He had left her dying like a flower in the winter, withered and crushed. It hurt her a lot, Alejandro was honestly sick of hearing it from both sides. Gavi said Lani was overreacting, and Lani said she was just rationally expressing her frustration.
When Anastasia kicks him to the curb, Pablo realizes he made a mistake, so he goes back and tries to mend what he so horrendously shattered. Foolishly, he believes Lani will just embrace him and forget that he too, put her in second place.
If Pablo Gavi wants Leilani Balde's trust back, she'll make him beg.
