Sommer Fellis was always in the background of her sister, Amber Fellis. Amber was the golden child she always took everything away from Sommer.

During Christmas Sommer would get something Amber wanted and Amber would go crazy crying and trashing around till she got it from Sommer.

Sommer would do little cute things like sing or dance for a family event but Amber was always there to steal the spotlight from her.

Sommer and Amber share the same birthday but Amber always got the most present, every picture has Amber in it. Sommer was nowhere.

Amber would bring a boy home and they'd immediately go after Amber and Amber enjoyed it not even stopping and thinking of her sister.

Every boyfriend was taken away from her. Every good grade she got went unnoticed. Every good achievement wasn't recognized.

Now to be sitting beside her sister and have her "fiancée" focus on her sister and her sister flirting back was it for her.

I mean the man she thought she'd grow old and have children with is flirting with her sister and to be honest he wasn't so good at hiding it.

She avoided dating for years after having her first love get took from her by you guessed it. Amber. I mean small boyfriends didn't mean much.

They'd come and go but that boy was something else lasted longer than any other boyfriend. Brought him home and he didn't flirt back with Amber.

But all it took was Amber wearing the same exact dress to her graduation party to get him to finally break. She was plotting on him and eventually won.

After that she stopped dating. Was no longer motivated to do anything. All she had was stuffed animals not even friends.

Life was never fair to her. But one day she meant Malik at a store they of course kicked it off. Sommer thought it was another chance.

They dated for a few years Sommer never brought him to her parents house. Never wanted him and Amber to meet. Never.

But once he proposed she knew she had no other choice. Looking back she regretted it. Could've just never invited them.

Her blood sister was flirting with the man she's supposed to spend the rest of her life with. A single tear fell.

The tear kissed her arm she looked down and thought "Why is life unfair to me..?" She quickly put on a smile she perfected over the years.

She looked up and made eye contact with her father. He looked in her eyes and immediately knew something was wrong.

Even after always putting his attention on Amber he always managed to figure out Sommer. "Excuse me while I take a trip to the bathroom," Sommer said

Her father nodded. Sommer quickly got her bag and got up but she glanced at Malik's hand. It was empty. No ring.

Her smile and face fell. That was it. She stood there and looked down at her ring and took it off her finger and put it in front of Malik.

"Seems like you want to spend your life with her instead," Malik looked up with a guilty face. Sommer looked down at him with a blank face.
