Chapter 15

Jess's POV

So far this vacation has been relaxing and calm. I'm so much closer to my other three siblings. We go for a run every morning. Well Sammy and I. While the girls play. Being with them for over a week I have have learned that my beautiful youngest sister has a hard time at sleeping at night and has to sleep with one of us. The second youngest has the biggest fear of any type of bug. Samuel actually is very over protective just like Cameron. But I have learned that we all share the same passion. They're so talented. We all sing and Sam dances a little. The girls are in ballet just like I was. I posted a cover of all of us of Shawn's new song. We even looked alike. We had really nice eyes from my dad.

I was texting Leah who was getting ready for another MAGCON event. She told me things are really good between her and Nash. I was happy for her. She says she cant wait to see me because things are different with out me. I assured her that in four days I'll make it up to her. She even told me that shes been keeping an eye out her Shawn. But he only goes out to MAGCON and places where all the boys are gonna be.

Me: FaceTime me over there.

Leah: My phone is gonna die soon.

Me: Tell one of the boys.

Leah: They can't use their phones as much anymore.

Me: What why?

Leah: Fans think they use their phones too much and barely pay any attention to them.

Me: Wtf. Really?

Leah: Yeah. Well I have to go.

Me: Okay. Before you leave whats today's day?

Leah: July 8

Me: Yeah... July 8

Leah: Yes Jess. Bye, Nash needs me.

I sighed. They forgot. They really did.

"Happy Birthday!" Dad and the girls come into my room with a cake.

"Guys!" I begin to tear up. "Thank you." I hug all of them. Sam was the first one. He and I went for a walk. Then music started playing out of no where and he began singing Happy Birthday to me while some other people were playing instruments that I have recently introduced to. Some recorded it and right away I posted it. He took me for a walk and once it hit 12 I was surprised with him singing to me and have tipico out there for me. Thanks for being the best. @SammyCruz

I posted the video Sammy just recorded. Munchkins and Daddy. Best way to wake up. #Finally16 I can't wait for my sweet.

"What do yo want to do today?" Dad asks taking the some of the frosting that girls put on my face. Mostly Selena.

"Just go to the beach and take pictures and then out to eat."

"Sounds good. Get ready guys. We'll leave in an hour. Do me a favor and help your sisters."

"Yes dad you don't have to ask every time." I give a little laugh pushing him out.

"Go shower. Help Sab please Sel?"

"Okay." they both say and go to the bathroom in my room. I try calling Cam but he doesn't answer. Nor Shawn or mom. Which really sucks.

I sigh leaving Selena some shorts and a tank top the same for Sabrina. Once they come back I help Sabrina change into her clothes. Selena wanted her hair down while Sabrina wanted it in a bun. I did it for her headed to the shower.

I came out the shower and went to grab some high waisted shorts and a cute crop top. I grabbed some sandals and started on my makeup and hair.

"Lets go!" Dad says walking to the car. Our cousin, Mariana whose like 15 who came for vacation came with us. She called shotgun so we sat in the back. On our way to the beach we talked. fooled around and listened to music.

We took so many pictures. My top favorites were one of my dad and I. I was siting on his back while doing a one handed push up while drinking his drink. Another was of with Sabrina and Selena. We jumped into the air hold hands. Another was with Mariana. We're standing in the water with our feet the water fixing one another hair since it was going every where. Then two with Sammy. They were both off guard. He had his arm around me, we just looked at each other and started laughing for no reason. The other one was when I got on top of his shoulders and we both put on our cheesiest smile. My last favorite was all of us in a group picture smiling at each other.

My dad was currently driving to the restaurant. My dad spoke to the man real quite and the man took us to a table.

"Oh my gosh they have cheesy chili fries and they jalapenos on it!" I smile.

"That sounds so good with some spicy buffalo wings." Sammy says.

"Shit yes. We are so related." I smiled.

"Then chocolate desert." Sabrina adds.

"Brownies to be exact." Selena says.

We all look at each other. "We're not sharing." we say looking at dad then back to each other and start laughing.

"Get ready. Dad said hes taking you and I out a party." Sam comes in.

"Okay. But don't wear that." I say looking at his outfit.

"What's wrong with it?"

"Camouflage doesn't match with-"

"Oh. Got you." He cuts me off seeing where I'm going with this. He then leaves.

I go to my closet and grab a black skater skirt and a floral bustier crop top. I then grab vans. I leave my hair and makeup the same. As I add perfume my start to water. Mom, Cam, Sierra, Shawn, Leah- no one called me. Not even a little text saying 'hbd' I'm so upset but I can't show it to my dad knowing that he'll worry.

I walk out of my room making sure tears were no longer there. Sam and I get into the car waiting for dad. "You alright?" he asks.

"Yeah thanks. It's just that they didn't even bother to call. It hurts."

"They'll reach out to you soon. Just make sure to have fun tonight. They're at MAGCON prob busy." He explains. I nod in agreement.

"Hey promise me something." I look at him.

"What?"

"When we leave on Saturday just promise me that we'll stay in touch."

I see his face soften turning into a sad smile. "I promise Jess."

"Pinkie?"

"Pinkie promise."

We locked our pinkies and I took a picture of it.

An hour into a party Sammy and I were just dancing and fooling around.

"Dad and I want to show you a surprise." Sammy tells me. I followed him.
