Chapter 7

Jess POV

"Brianna! Just come up on stage already man." I took her by the hand. "But I don't want to" she whined. "If you don't I won't get you ice cream after." I smirked. "Fine." she gave in.

*After the event*

"So Jady, I wanted to know if you'd like to go on a date with me" Shawn gave me that amazing smile of his. "Obviously." I giggled. "Great. So I'll meet you down in the lobby in 25 minutes?"
"Okay.Wait Shawn were are we going?" I asked.
"To eat then a surprise." he smile
I nodded and walked away.

I got in my room and got a white laced dress that stopped at me knees. I also put my black pumps and left my natural wavy hair down. I did my make up and got my phone. Once I was done I got out my room seeing everyone sitting talking. I went to the kitchen and got a bottle of water.

"Oh where are you going?" Cam smiled. "I don't know how about you?"
"Date with Marylin at the beach." he smiled. "aw cuteee." I pinched his cheek. "Hey babe." Marylin came in a hugged me. "Hey girlfriend"

"You look amazing!" she squealed. "You do to!" I smile and her. "Cam do me a favor and a picture of us." she handed her phone to him. He gladly took the phone. We did a bunch of crazy and cute poses. Then I snapped a couple of Marylin with Cameron. "There! Can you snap a couple of me and Cam?" I asked Marylin. "Yes! Duh!" I giggled and gave her my phone.

Cameron and I took a couple of pictures and it was time for me to go. "Send me all the pictures we took." I told Marylin before leaving.

As I was stepping in the elevator she sent them to me. I saved them all and posted my favorite one on Instagram. I had a little bit more time until Shawn would have arrive so I just went to freshen up real quick.

"Jady! Shawn's here!" I heard Hayes. "Coming!" I yelled as I ran to get my phone from my bed. I fixed my hair and looked at myself in the mirror again and out the door I went.

"Hey Shawn" I smiled as I hugged him and kissed his cheek. "Hey. Wow you look amazing."
"You look good to.."
"Shall we leave now?"
"We shall."

We reached to the car and he opened the door for me. I got in and he sat next to me. He smiled at me and looked into my eyes. "You know what I noticed about you?" he smiled. "What?"

"You're eyes change color deepening your mood."
"That's true. What color are they now?"
"You're normal beautiful hazel color."
"Thank you."

Once we made it to the restaurant where we had reservations at we sat down and looked at the menu. I'm getting Alfredo Pasta with salad on the side and water with lemon in it.

While we waited and ate the food talked and enjoyed ourselves. We takes about each other, dream house and just other random topics.

"Hey are you done? Let's take it to the last part of the date" he asked me. "Yeah, yeah sure let's go!"

"But wait.. take the pumps off..i don't want you to fall" he smiled. I took them off and put the to a side.

Shawn took my hand and interlocked it with his. He walked out the restaurant through the back door leading up to a road of candles.

"Do me a favor and follow these. I'll meet you there." Shawn smiled. I did as I was told to do so and followed them to the end.

"Shawn?" I called out. "Close your eyes then turn around" I heard his voice. Once I turned around I shut my eyes. "Okay now step forward... Listen to my voice... Steady..steady. Turn to your left. Now stop and open your eyes now." he said. I opened my eyes seeing beautiful lights then a guitar it and a little basket on top of the little blanket.

"Oh my gosh this is beautiful Shawn" I hug him. He chuckles and take my hand. We both sit down and he opens the basket and takes out strawberries dipped in chocolate. "Those are my faves!" "Mine too."

"Okay open your mouth." he smiled. I open my mouth and puts a strawberry in my mouth. "Mmmm" i say. "Okay here you go now. Open" I smile and get a strawberry and then pretend that I was gonna give it to him but I ended up eating it.

"Jadyyyyy!" he whines. "Okay.Okay here then" I gave him it.

"Mmm that is good." he smiles. I nodded in agreement.

"So I've been working on this song for you...its called life of the party. Imma sing it to you. I hope you enjoy it." he smirks.

"I love it when you just don't care, I love it when you dance like there's nobody there..."

When he was done with the singing he put the guitar away and looked at me. "You liked it?" he asked.

I attack him with a bear hug. "That was so beautiful." I hugged him. "Glad you liked it..it took me awhile to write it." He blushed.

He looks in the basket for something in the basket and then stands up. He gives me his hand and I get up. "Turn around." he smiled.

I turn around. He puts my hair out of the away and loves something cold around my neck. I look down at it seeing it's a silver chained necklace with a little heart and a "J and S" in carved on the back.

"Oh my. Shawn this is beautiful." I looked at it then back at him. "Thank you, thank you"

He looks into my eyes and I look into his. He puts one hand on my cheek and leans in "Your welco-"

"Ahhhh!" next thing I know the water sprinklers turn on. Shawn started chasing me around.

Once the watered stopped we we're both soaking wet. We laid down on the glass and looked into the sky breaking heavily.

"I think we should go. Cameron might kick my ass if I don't bring home in time."

"You're right." I smiled

We both fixed everything and and headed to the car. My head on his shoulder the whole time. Next thing I knew I was knocked out wrapped around Shawn's arms.
