It's been three days.

It took me almost two days to heal. My body was exhausted from fighting off twenty strong vamps, but I powered through it. I was mostly sleeping. Killian would barely let me get out of bed, the bathroom being the only exception.

Now, I'm back to normal, fresh, healed, and clean. I flick through the titles on Netflix, looking for something to watch, but I can't find anything.

I huff, irritated. I push myself up and walk into the kitchen.

Killian's not here, so I can't bug him. Xander's locked away in his room. Peyton and Nikolai left with Killian. Lilly's hiding somewhere in the house, saying she needed to 'practice her magic'.

And I've been forbidden from stepping foot out the door, and Killian actually had someone lock me inside, so I'm bored.

I open the fridge, scanning it, before shutting the door. I sigh, bored out of my mind.

"Your life is pathetically miserable." Malia speaks. I turn, finding her sitting on the counter.

My brows furrow. "Why are you always sitting on something?"

She quirks her eyebrow. "It feels as though it were my throne." She answers swiftly. As if she's been waiting for me to ask her.

"You're not royalty." I state, hopping up onto the island and snatching an apple to throw up into the air.

She laughs. "You really are an idiot." She hisses the word.

My brows furrow, but the doorbell rings. I sigh and jump down, walking to the door. I swing it open, a brunette standing on the porch with a child beside her, her thumb in her mouth.

I tilt my head. "Can I help you?"

"Hi, does Alexander live here?" She asks.

I slowly nod. "Yeah. Why?"

"Good." She bends down and picks up the kid, hauling her into my arms.

"Oh– Okay, uhm..." I catch her, holding her on my hip.

"It's his. She's yours and Alexander's problem now. Have fun!" She leaves, but I can't run after her.

The girl starts crying. "Mama!" She cries. I open my mouth to speak but close it again. I sigh and close the door, but she doesn't stop crying.

I walk into the living room and set her down on the couch. "Okay, you wanna watch a movie?" She sniffs and nods shakily. "What movie?" I grab the remote from the couch.

"Punzel." She bounces her feet.

"Okay." I press the Disney+ button on the remote and type in 'Tangled'. I play it and set the remote down on the coffee table before I stand and walk upstairs. I go to Xander's room and knock. "Xander." He doesn't answer. "Xander." My voice is more stern this time.
