The second we get back, I take Ari inside and set her on the couch. I still have to set up her iPad, so I'll do that later. I turn on whatever movie she wants to watch, which is 'The Little Mermaid', and help bring in bags. When she sees her Squishmallow, she climbs off the couch and runs as fast as her little legs will let her, hugging the stuffed animal.
I let out a chuckle.
"Uh, what is all this?" Lilly asks as she walks down the steps. She walks over to us, stopping a few feet away. Ari jumps up and runs to her, wrapping her arms around her legs. "Ah– I– uhm– there's a kid." She states, looking up at me.
"Her name's Arianna." I tell.
Xander walks up beside me. "She's your sister." Her eyes widen.
She blinks rapidly in disbelief. "I have a sister?"
"Apparently." Xander murmurs as he takes bags and carries them up the stairs.
I turn to Lilly. "You two should hang out. Get to know each other." I smile at her. Lilly bends down and picks her up, walking away with her on her hip. I sigh and turn to Killian, who's bringing in Ari's car seat. He sets it down by the door and stands up straight. I hold my hand out. "Keys."
He sets them in my palm with no further questions. "Where're you going?"
I curl my fingers around the cool metal. "I need to visit a friend."
"I thought you lost everyone." It's not a question.
"I did." I reply. "Doesn't mean I can't make friends." I knock my head to the side ever so slightly. I walk around him toward the door before I turn back. "Why did you pick my car? Out of the many you could choose?" My brows scrunch together.
He shrugs, stuffing his hands in his pants pockets. "Figured you'd want your car."
I nod jerkily, pressing my lips together. Then I leave.

I walk up the stairs to the house, grabbing the key to unlock the door. I open it, noticing the quietness of the house. I shut the door behind me and make my way up the stairs, one hand on the railing.
I hear buttons click as I walk toward one of the bedrooms. I push the door open, revealing Kenji in his chair with a headset on, playing on his console. I lean against the door frame, my arms crossed.
I'm in the mood to scare...
I stalk toward him, careful not to make any noise. I reach his chair and lightly press my hands on it.
"On the left, on the left." Kenji chants into his mic. He still hasn't noticed me.
"Ra!" I yell out as I push his chair down. He jumps, his soul leaving his body. He throws the controller somewhere and his headset lands on his desk. I step back as he falls back. When he lands, he looks up at me, shocked. I hover over him, my arms crossed, with a shit-eating grin on my face.
