[Woo a new chapter :D]

Scott's Pov.

I shuffled around on my bed, trying my best to fall asleep. Every time I felt tired enough to fall asleep, I didn't! It was annoying me so much. I got up from my bed, seeing it was still nighttime, maybe I should go outside! Yeah, what would be nice!

I got up from my bed, with all that energy I had before. I was then unsure about myself and my thoughts. Why do I wanna go outside?
I started questioning myself, but I did it anyways. Slowly leaving my bedroom and making my way to the outside of my house.

I looked over at the closest window, which was near Acho's house, it was indeed night. To be exact, midnight it was. I quietly made my way to that window, nibbling a small hole for me to go through it by. I had successful snuck out the attic without being seen!

As I silently cheered for myself for making it without being seen. I then looked up at the sky. The stars were so pretty, I didn't feel tired at all anymore! I silently watched the stars as I slowly got more and more energy.

I then heard something nearby the nibbled window, which was where I was on a ledge. I instinctively turned around too see Phil.

"Well hello Scott, just looking at the stars?" He asked, while also looking up at the stars.

"Yeah, can't sleep" I decided to answer honestly, I barely even knew the crow, but I felt I did somehow.

"You can't sleep of course, your a Starborne. You look so weird here though, small like a rat, even with the ears and tail of a rat! Are you a rat?" Phil questioned, as I was thinking of a response.

"Wait, 'Starborne'? What is that?" I asked aloud, as Phil said I was one of those. But I was a rat! Not whatever a 'Starborne' is.

"Well, it's a being that comes from the stars, or outer space more like. It looks like a human but with distinctive differences, starting off with star's in, or on, their body. They can jump really high up and take no fall damage." Phil responded, I was confused on why he said I was one, the only thing close to that is not dying, but still getting hurt, when falling.

"Anyways, it's becoming day. I'm sure you'll be tired now, we can talk more later." Phil said, going through the nibbled hole at the window.

He wasn't wrong though, I was tired. I just assumed it was since I got no sleep, so I crawled back inside, tired. I went back to my house as if nothing happened at all outside at night.
