"Remember when we used to sneak out and go to the park and talk for hours." Aiden said with a distant look in his eyes and a smile on his face. "Or when we ruined your mom's kitchen making a cake for your birthday and it came out disgusting." he added with a chuckle. Alaska could barely hold herself together and he was making it worse. She told herself she wouldn't cry and wouldn't burst out. She'd hold her emotions together. But she was reaching her breaking point. "Oh and remember that one time where we almost got caught sneaking into a club" he started laughing with it. She couldn't take it anymore. He was bringing up memories she'd rather forget. Memories she wishes she couldn't remember so they couldn't hurt her over and over again like they had. She slammed her hand on the table and stood up. "OF COURSE I REMEMBER. I REMEMBER EVERYTHING WE DID TOGETHER!" she screamed. She couldn't take him talking anymore. "I remember being lonely and calling your phone only for it to be declined. I remember wanting to talk to you and you shutting me out. I remember finding you in MY HOUSE in MY BED with someone else. I remember you breaking up with me and pushing me aside like it was nothing. Like I was nothing. I remember having to see you and her walk around so happy. I remember seeing the guy I loved be happy with someone else and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. I remember watching you and my heart absolutely shattering." She was full on crying right now. She couldn't hold back her emotions anymore. All the things she wanted to feel then but couldn't are breaking through right now. "You broke me." she whispered with so much emotion. "I loved you more than I loved myself." she says, getting louder. "I gave you ALL of me. Parts I didn't even know I had." she said, trying not to yell again. "And what did I get back ? I mean what was it all for ?" She didn't want to be this vulnerable right now in front of everybody, but her way out was long gone. "You gave me the BARE MINIMUM. But all I wanted was your love and affection." She whispered. She starts wiping her eyes, "So yes, I remember all the "good" times we had but I damn well won't forget all the bad times and all the things you made hurt. I mean, I couldn't even get out of bed in the morning." she said helplessly. This was over, she needed to let him know that it was over and there's nothing that could help him. She wanted him out of her life. "I am FINALLY happy. And with a man who knows how to love me and treats me so well. He is my savior. He was there when I felt nothing and when I had nothing." She looks over to Liam and smiles lovingly. He smiles back with just as much love, maybe more. "You have no place here any longer. You have no place in my life in my heart or in my presence." She said in a scarily calm tone. "Get out" she said evenly. When he just sat there, she leaned forward and pointed at the door, "Get. Out" she whispered in a deadly voice. But Aiden wasn't ready to accept his defeat, "Damn it Alaska!" he yells, getting out of his seat. "Okay sure, I cheated on you, but I did love you. I loved you like I knew how. You don't get to push me around when you treated me the same way." Aiden says to her with his jaw clenched and fists balled. She laughed. She laughed like a maniac because she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Then all of a sudden, she stopped and looked at him and said, "You never loved me, and you know it. You don't get to blame this on your absent dad and neglective mom. You never cared about any of that. You chose to treat me like you did. If you want to bring in parents, let's talk about mine. I loved you through their abuse, through their neglect, through their selfishness. I can't tell you how many times I got beaten half to death from going on a date with you or sneaking out with you. But I did it all for you. I made those sacrifices for you. And then when you finally knew about the abuse after we were broken up, you laughed. You laughed and said, 'That's what a whore like you gets.'" She stopped for a second to get his reaction and she was glad she did. He looked shocked, surprised, and the best thing. Scared. He was scared of her knowing about that night. She smiled and continued, "You probably think I don't remember because I've always had a bad memory and I was pretty drunk. But I remember that night so well. I remember a lot of things well. And I'll be damned to hell if I sit here and let you play innocent, abused guy. I'll be DAMNED!" She started yelling. "I said OUT. GET OUT!" She points at the door again. When he doesn't move, she gets up and whispers in his ear, "Or do I have to make you like I made your mommy and daddy." she says in a sickly-sweet voice. Fear courses through because he knows what she can do. He stands up and starts toward the door, ignoring eye contact from everyone. But when he gets to the door, he turns around and says, "You got what you fucking deserved dirty bitch." Next thing she knew, she was throwing a knife at him. It hit his neck and he started choking. She walks up to him and whispers in his ear, "I was trying to let you leave but seems you didn't want to." With that, she pulled the knife out of his neck, causing him to bleed out even faster and threw it on the floor. She turned to everyone else in the room that was watching and with a straight face and no emotion said, "I'm going to my room." She walked up to her room slowly to make it seem like she was just tired and was perfectly okay, but she knew the minute her door closed behind her, she would melt. And she did. But this time she didn't face it alone, HE was there right with her, assuring her that it was going to be okay. "Why does his always happen to me? Why can't I just be happy?" she says sobbing into Liam's arms. He holds her in his arms and says, "It'll be alright baby. You deserve the world and then some and I'll bring it to your feet. You're going to get your happy ending I promise. I will make sure of it." Hearing his words, she sobbed some more but these weren't sad tears anymore. She was crying because she was happy and warm and grateful that she found somebody to finally love her like she should've been loved. She hugged him tight and soon fell asleep in his arms. She fell asleep with a smile on her face and excitement for the days yet to come that she'd get to live with her happily ever after.
