Deal With It

Jisung was huffing and puffing, walking through the street carefully balancing his humongous volcano in his hands.

The said boy was annoyed to say the least, annoyed at the sun that was pouring down UV rays on the poor boy and not to mention the heat, he was annoyed at the passerbys who gave him weird looks, annoyed at his struggle to walk as he was almost wheezing out on heavy breaths not even 5 minutes after leaving his house— it was safe to say the boy did not work out, he was also annoyed at Felix who had decided to catch a cold in the last minute leaving the boy to walk through the neighborhood to school.

Eventually the said boy arrived at school  stomping his way to his locker, some of his friends already there saw the tired boy and let out a chuckle at his worn out expression so early in the morning, chan being one of the friends near his locker helped the poor boy by taking his megamatronic project out of his hands, his dad instincts kicking in.

Jisung silently thanked chan for his help as he glared at his other friends who were still giggling like 10 year old school girls, namely hyunjin and jeongin.

"Where are you planning on leaving this huge thing?" Chan asked as he remembered that they didn't have science till 4th period.

Jisung sighed in response shaking his head "i have no fucking clue, its not like I can leave it in the hallway or something" he responded filling his bag with his math books and shoving his literature books into his locker and slamming the door shut.

"Why don't you leave it in the library" a voice from behind them said, as they all looked back and saw seungmin approaching them with leeknow trailing not too far behind.

"Yeah, I guess ill do that" jisung responded nodding his head.

"Where's changbin?" Hyunjin asked as he looked around.

"Hes at felixs, apparently he got worried when he heard that Felix was sick and ended up staying over at his place, then woke up in the morning with a soar throat and a cold, so neither of them will be coming to school today" jisung said turning around to face the group.

He glanced at leeknow through his peripheral vision and saw the boy quietly leaning against one of the lockers with a lollipop in his mouth just like last time.

Jisung chose to avoid the boy and ignore his existence not wanting to 'ruin' his own mood.

Soon the bell rang dispersing the students in the hallways as jisung and hyunjin walked to first period.

Jisung was walking towards the library after the third period, going to collect the volcano that he had made.

Said boy pushed open the door and walked in, greeting the librarian, he walked further in heading to the corner to where he placed his project, it wasn't hard to find as it easily caught his eyes. he trudged up to the thing and picked it up carefully cradling the bottom of it in his hands careful not to drop it.

He walked back out from the corner of the library and headed for the exit.

"Whats it for?" The librarian at the desk asked cocking her brow up in curiosity.

"Science project" jisung replied giving her a lopsided smile.

"They still give yall to do this shit?" She asked surprised and dissapointed at the lack of evolution and creativity in the education system.

Jisung nodded his head "unfortunately" he said chuckling to himself slightly "thank you for letting me leave it in here" he said to which the librarian nodded her head and waved her hand dismissively indicating that jisung could leave.
