Boy was he proven wrong. The next day Atsushi walked back into the same building he attended five days a week, the same building that felt like a prison. He approached his lilac coloured locker, to be met with once again, a baby blue note. Confusion filled his face. What? So was the note meant for me? Or is this person dumb and doesn't know this is the wrong locker? He unfolded the note and read it. As if it could read his mind, the note read:

Yes that note was for you, Atsushi Nakajima

~ <3

His cheeks flushed as he read the note. So it really was for him. A soft grin spread across his face as he re-read the note. It was directed at him. The person who wrote the note, likes him. The person who wrote the note, thinks about him. The person that wrote that note actually knows who he is. He folded the note back over again and placed it in his pocket, the one from yesterday still there alongside it.

"Yoohoo~" an all too familiar voice called out to him. "Atsushiii~" the mentioned boy sighed as he shut his locker and turned to look at the boy calling out for him.

"Hi Dazai-san," he smiled. "Why don't you come sit with me and Chuuya for lunch today? You're always so lonely it breaks my heart!" he gasped dramatically, placing a hand over where his heart is. Except, it was on the wrong side. The white haired boy rolled his eyes.

"I like eating alone, it's relaxing. Besides I don't need to deal with your annoying ass," he chuckled when another dramatic gasp left the oldest mouth.

"I think my heart just broke into a million pieces! I can feel the shards poking against my hand!" He exclaimed.

"Mhm, maybe if your hand was in the right side you would." He replied smirking before walking off leaving a confused Dazai who soon realised his mistake.

The boy spent that lunch how he usually would, hiding out in the old dance studio listening to music and eating his lunch. Not many people used the room anymore, in fact, he could probably be the only person who actually used it. Everything was still intact, the mirrors, the floor, the sound system. Everything was fine. Students just never bothered using it for some reason. Atsushi in the other hand always went there at lunch. He enjoyed sitting there and eating. It was peaceful and not crowded unlike the cafeteria. Sometimes he would come by during a free period or for an hour after school as well. Truth be told, Atsushi loved to dance. He enjoyed it as a hobby. He wasn't interested in making it a career he just enjoyed doing it, besides it kept him fit.

Later that afternoon when he returned home, he went straight to his bedroom and opened a drawer to his desk. He pulled a small white box out and placed the two notes in it. A large grin plastered itself across his face as he grabbed his phone and clicked play on his Spotify playlist. 'Smiley' by Yena ft BIBI started filling the room as he grabbed a sheet of paper from a drawer in his desk and began to scribble down on it.
