A/N: Okay so this chapter will be a few months before the prison gets raided and blown up and shit. I'll also feature characters like:

Edith's and Carl's status:
Okay so Edith and Carl will sneak into each other's cells and talk and sometimes sneak out and sit in the guard tower and mayyybe kiss and y'know. It is pretty lovey dovey y'know.

"Helloooo, Earth to Edith!" A familiar voice said, Carl waved his hand in front of Edith's face as he kept repeating the same lines.

Edith quickly snapped out of her thoughts and hit Carl lightly on his shoulder. "Oh hello Mr. Carl Grimes." Edith said as a wide smirk apeared on her lips.

"Haha, very funny. Okay snap out of it you two!" Edith quickly turned away and looked at Daryl who looked like he was about to throw up. "I know your secrets" Daryl said and darted his eyes at Carl who tried to hold in his laugh.

"Okay okay! Jeeze. Calm down tough guy!" Edith said and got off Carl's bed. Edith casually walked by Daryl and gave him an eyeroll. "Meet me at the guard tower later Carl!" Edith said over Daryl's shoulder.

Carl nodded and quickly looked the other way to avoid Daryl's look. "Daryl, I know what you're thinki-" But Daryl quickly cuts him off.

"Listen kid. I don't give a fuck about what y'all are doing" Daryl's face softens for a quick moment as he gave Carl a knowing look. "But don't come crying when she ditches you" he laughs.

"Aw screw you dude." Carl laughs with him as they walk out to the yard of the prison.

As Daryl and carl walked out to the yard Carl spotted Edith and ran up to her and they almost instantly started to talk about comics. "Y'know I think that we should let them have their fun." Daryl said as he looked at Carl's wide grin as he had put his hat over Edith exposing his long brown hair. Edith ruffled Carl's long hair and whispered something to him. Carl's cheeks grew pink and he quickly looked away.

"Yeah, they look cute together!" Beth quickly added. "They are meant for each other. It's almost like destiny ain't it?" Beth smiled widly as she nudges Rick's shoulder lightly.

Glenn and Maggie's car came close to the prison gates and Carl and Edith quickly went to open up for them. "Hey Glenn, Maggie!" Edith said cheerfully as they stepped out of their car. Glenn ruffled Edith's hair and hugged her tightly.

"Let me help you get the supplies!" Carl quickly said as Maggie started to carry in some food and guns. "Looks like a lot." Carl said as he Grabbed a box full with food.

"Yeah thanks Carl, we sure got a lot this time" Maggie said as she started to walk towards the prison entrance. "We've never gotten this much before!" She continued.

A while after they carried all the stuff that Maggie and Glenn scavenged on the road Carl and Edith sneaked up to the guard tower. As Carl and Edith sat there in the silence Edith quickly thought that she had to break the silence.

"Hey Carl?" Edith started and broke the silence. Carl looked up at Edith who already stared at him. "Remember that night when we were ten?" Edith quickly blushed and looked away.

"Yeah. I do remember it." Carl said. "what about it?" He quickly added. He tried to get Edith to look at him. He could see that she was blushing and put his hand over hers.

Edith looked in Carl's ocean blue eyes as she kept his eye contact she scooted the tiniest inch closer to him. "Well...Did you mean it?" She said as she looked down at her grey sneakers.

"Of course I did.." Carl said, it was not much louder than a whisper but it was loud enough for Edith to hear him. "I would never lie to a girl like you... because, you mean everything to me." Carl quickly grabbed Edith's hand. "But did you mean what you said...?"

"Yes, yes I did." Edith whispered, but just as she finished her sentence Carl quickly pulled her in for a kiss but he stopped right before their lips touched just to tease her. Edith felt his warm breath on her lips and felt her breath shake and her heart beat like crazy. "Oh come on.. scared.?" Edith said as she gently placed her arms around Carl's neck.

"No I'm not scared.." Carl said with his mesmerizing voice. "Just teasing you." He whispered into her ear and pulled her in for a deep kiss. Their lips moved perfectly in sync, Edith twirled her fingers through Carl's hair and after what felt like forever they finally pulled away and just stared at each other but quickly jumped away from each other when a voice scared them

"Hey! What are y'all doing up here!?" It was Maggie. She and Glenn were on the night patrolling shift. "Just get down and eat dinner. Rick needs to plan his next move on the govenour."

Edith and Carl quickly got up and climbed down the watch tower, as they ran they tried to hold in their laughs but that didn't last for too long. Soon they saw a strange woman in the cellblock. She had long dreads that went all the way to her shoulders, deep brown eyes, a red tank top. Edith looked at Carl quickly and grabbed his hand.

Carl looked at Rick with a familiar head tilt. "Dad, who is this woman?" He squeezed Edith's hand and felt himself getting worried.

"She wants to stay with us!" Beth quickly said as she saw the look on Carl's face. "She says that she knows where Andrea is." Beth looked at Rick for approval and he nodded.

Edith quickly looked at Carl who already looked at her. "Oh my gosh, is it the Andrea I'm thinking of?" Edith asked slowly while looking at Rick. "I really hope it is..." Edith remembered all the fun times she and Andrea had while they lived at the camp. She was taught how to fish and tie knots, Andrea also told amazing stories by the fire when they really needed some positivity and she felt herself tear up.

Carl looked at Edith deep in the eyes and gave her a reassuring look. "It's okay. I also missed her." Carl smiled slightly and hugged her softly. He felt his heart skip a beat as he hugged her but knew that she needed it.

"Can y'all hug somewhere else?!" Daryl said impatiently and looked at the hugging 14 year olds. Carl and Edith just looked at each other and laughed as they walked into the prison again.
