Chapter 1: Over and out, dear

"♫Let's take aaaawwwwaaaayyyy!!!"

Sweetie finished her song and did her iconic gesture of thanking the crowd for joining. She quickly walked off the stage and into the backstage, where she was already met by her husband and daughter.

"You did great Sweetie," Chase said as he embraced the terrier in a hug. As soon as he let go, Valerie jumped on her, making them laugh.

"You were fabulous mom, fabulous!" Valerie said, laying on her mother's back. She giggled as Valerie climbed down from her back.

"So, now we have a holiday for real," Sweetie said, as they all made their way to the changing room.

"Yeah, but I was thinking about where to go," Chase said, letting Valerie jump on his back.

"And what you thought of?" Sweetie asked, taking off the suit she had on.

"Actually, Valerie thought of it," Chase said, making the small pup wag her tail like crazy.

"Is that so?" Sweetie said playfully. "Is my little devil a smart pup?"

"Let's go meet Noosh!"

Sweetie was silent. She hadn't heard that name in a long time, almost three years.

"Y-You mean Nooshy?" She asked for clarification while taking her small bag.

"Yes! She was so nice, and I haven't seen her for a long time." Valerie said, making Sweetie sigh.

"You know sweetheart," Sweetie said and looked into her eyes. "It's not that easy to go and meet her."

"But everyone was saying you are smart, I know you can find a way, mom," Valerie said, making Sweetie's heart flutter. Chase looked at her, giving her a sign to go for it.

"Okay, but you will behave." "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Valerie jumped around like crazy, making their parents just giggle.

"But if I want to build the machine again, I need to go to the lookout," Sweetie whispered to Chase, making him think.

"I don't know if something even stayed there. You want to go all the way to Adventure Bay?" Chase asked Sweetie, to which she nodded, and smiled.

"Yes, it's like...an hour of flight there, so I would be gone for two and half hours, meaning I could go in the night," Sweetie said while motioning to Valerie that it was time to go. The three walked outside the whole complex, and towards Chase's car. They didn't speak of it, for now, they just talked about various things.

When they got home, and Sweetie put Valerie into bed, just outside her bedroom was Chase waiting for her.

"I can go, and you'll stay here." "No, I was thinking we both go," Sweetie said, pressing a button on her collar, instantly turning it black with purple stripes on it, and a small tag appeared on it. "Of course if you are not scared of flying."

"Was I ever afraid?" Chase said, and they both went down into the basement, where Chase put on his old, but working flight suit, while Sweetie's, thanks to nanotech, appeared on her.

"Okay, so Adventure Bay, in and out," Chase said, to which Sweetie nodded. The basement started opening, and they both flew out of it, heading straight over the ocean.

"I didn't fly for over 3 months, you know that?" Sweetie told Chase. "Even despite that one robber was using a rocket."

"I told you that being an agent isn't easy." "Yes, but at least I have more time with Valerie," Sweetie argued.

"Is it just me, or nothing seems to be destroyed?" Chase asked through the communication as Sweetie looked around.
