The Alzeriux Pill

Chapter Two

A pill.
That's their plan.
They are planning to basically drug the entire city.
They've named it the Alzeriux pill.
They call it a medicine. To cure us from sin, but they're the real sin. The pill will make us the same, not physically but mentally. We will have the same opinions, the same likes and dislikes. We will become what they call the 'perfect' human designed by them. This 'person' is intelligent, kind, happy and isn't racist, homophobic or violent. Obviously this is good but think about it, we will have every bit of individuality taken away from us we will essentially be the same person. Can you imagine being constantly happy, never arguing with someone, never EVER committing a sin, being 100% perfect. All these imperfections is what makes us human. This person they've created is impossible. We will become aliens. And nothing scares me more than that.

Every one will have to take it even babys and every time a baby is born they have to take the pill straight away! Can you imagine being like that you're whole life, never really knowing what it means to be truly human.
One dose lasts for life. And we either take it or be killed. But either way its suicide.

They demonstrated it on a criminal, or sinner as they call them. Watching him take the pill was nearly as disturbing as watching someone be cut up into pieces. You could see every bit of what made him, him being sucked out and then suddenly he was completely calm and polite. His mind had been wiped, he was like a robot created by the government. It was horrible. Truly horrible.

So many people have been publicly executed already trying to destroy it, to flee from the city but they've all failed.

This is never going to work. The crime will get worse. I've heard rumours about a plot to murder the entire government. It's tempting to take part but I can't.
